Agreed. I was a Nick at Nite junkie as a kid, and although Odd Couple wasn't one of my favorites, I did watch it occasionally. And now that I work in theatre, it comes up with surprising frequency. (It was originally a Neil Simon play and is often performed at regional theatres… Often to great eye rolling by theatre

"Couldn't control his smirk."  Yes!  Thank you for pinpointing for me what my problem was with his impression.  I do actually think it was better than Armisen's and shows a lot of potential to turn into something great, but he's got to get rid of that smirk.  It totally pulled me out of the sketch every time.

I was watching with my parents last night (I know, I'm the coolest) and my dad had the same experience.  He burst out laughing at Moynihan's dance (I think he said something along the lines of "That's hands down the funniest thing he's ever done on the show") but then was disappointed when he found out it was just a

Yes, this!  I don't know why they can't ever just do a sketch once, have it be great, and then leave well enough alone.

Not to mention the fact that he's already been abandoned by one of his two moms (Jill), who once was so desperate to keep him but now apparently cares so little that her leaving him behind didn't even merit discussion.

Yes, and speaking of that, it's grate three pounds of Parmesan to the RIND (not round), SEPARATE 18 eggs (there's a bit more to that than just cracking them), and portion beef loin into pieces that WEIGH (ok, this one was just a typo) between 7.5 and 8 ounces, without the aid of a scale.
