Oh God, I hate Lily's dad.  He's really ruining this season for me.  I have to say, I do have a bias against the actor, as I've never found him funny in anything I've seen him in.  Here he continues to grate and I think he is a big contributor to the greater "sitcommy" feeling that you mentioned.

Maybe I'm just incredibly daft, but what the hell does being a lawyer have to do with being a coroner? I would've thought a coroner needed medical degrees/licenses, not legal ones.

This is exactly how us Chicagoans felt about the Chicago series.  So much potential and opportunity, so little of it explored in favor of unimaginative challenges and cliched (hot dogs, Chicago pizza, etc.) food.

Uh, guys, she was born and raised in London.  She's not doing accent work… I'm pretty sure that's just the way she talks.

I don't know what's going on with all of you people and your dusty homes, but me?  Me, I've been chopping onions all evening.

I caught up on Homeland a week or two after the final episode aired, so I wasn't able to ask this question during the episode recaps, at least not with much hope that anyone would see my comment and respond.  Maybe here I have a shot at it.

So, who else is excited for next week's episode?  After seeing the preview, I'm really looking forward to it.  I don't know exactly how they'll make it work, but they better.  It looks like it could be a lot of fun and definitely right up the show's alley.

Well, I'm wondering if maybe she didn't wear the dress for exactly that reason.  Lifetime didn't air the episode until after the promotion for The Muppets was done, so the dress couldn't be worn.

I'm sorry, when did Pam have her baby?  Jim mentioned that he would be going home to two kids, but I don't remember them even mentioning that she'd given birth. Did I miss something?

Loved this episode. Great food, fun concept, civil discourse amongst the contestants, intelligent and articulate guest judge, and a super fun chart-featuring write-up to boot! Definitely an A for me.

He's her boss. That's the problem.

She's only 18.  I really think you should be putting more of the blame for not thinking ahead about whether or not they can afford the colleges she's applying to on the shoulders of her parents.

Yes, that was exactly it.  Once he saw her, he just couldn't bear to tell her they couldn't do it; he just couldn't bear to let her down.

I didn't pick up on the book deal either.  Maybe it's because I never pay enough attention to Castle to catch the details.  I knew she was a teacher, but I definitely didn't absorb the information that she was a writer, so the idea of her researching a book certainly wasn't at the forefront of my mind.

Oh, I know, you're right.  But I felt bad for her.  She was trying to play it cool, but just couldn't help herself because he's her little boy.

I agree completely.  It seems like if Kalinda thinks this through for a moment, she would realize everything you said above and not be fooled by Dana's ploy.

I was hoping so!  An acquaintance of mine is the actor who plays the tech guy who's had two small scenes in previous episodes (one with Kalinda when they were trying to find the document that Alicia lost and the other with Alicia when she was trying to get her computer fixed).  I was hoping that somehow it would link

Oh, thank you!  I've lodged a complaint on the last two articles… I don't mean to be annoying, but for some reason it's really bugged me and I just had to comment.  Glad to know you guys are aware of it and on top of it.

I know!  I usually don't bother pointing them out.  This one just particularly bugs me because, as I mentioned above, it's not just an error within the article, it's an error in the overall filing/labeling of the article that can cause a bigger (albeit still small in the grand scheme of things) problem.

@avclub-882bb5927df59fe88ab4a07ef696ff37:disqus : IIRC, she never said to give false information, she just said to apply pressure.  I think it's perfectly logical that it was indeed F. Murray Abraham who passed it on to the State's Attorney's Office.  I will be pretty disappointed if it turns out it was Cary; I can
