Okay, so we've got Death of Joffrey, Conquest of Meereen, Battle of Castle Black and Death of Ygritte, Red Viper vs Mountain, The Assault on the Wall aka Stannis Rides to the Rescue, Arya's On a Boat!, Littlefinger's Home Movies, Crossbow vs Bowels and Lysa vs Moon Door to get us through the end of Book 3 - given that

Yes indeed to Babs - as long as we're in this cartoon time period, I'll go ahead and throw in Gadget the Mouse from Rescue Rangers.

What songs count as underrated? "Like a Rolling Stone" isn't underrated, obviously. "Mr. Tambourine Man" isn't. But what about "All Along the Watchtower," overshadowed as it has been by Hendrix' cover? What about something like "Visions of Johanna" or "If You See Her, Say Hello", non-singles from Dylan albums that

I saw Stand By Me on HBO when I was about six or seven. My Dad had left it on and was asleep.
First movie with permission was Glory when I was 10, but that was on home video.
In the theater was A Few Good Men. I was 11 and phrases like 'faggoty white uniform,' 'I'm going to rip off your head and piss in your dead skull'

Milhouse comparing making out to slowly eating an ice cream sandwich has always struck me as both sweet and strangely accurate.

I Have One Word for You…

For real world couples, I would put up Roger Federer and his wife. He's got kind of a big nose, but she's got kind of a big ass.

We Need to Prepare for a New Danger…
Tyrannosaurs in F-14s!

It happens so rarely, but I disagree with Cookie. Order of the Phoenix' slow pace, Harry's brooding self-absorption and raging hormones, the 'wait, is this part of the plot' feel of the book's middle are what makes it compelling. It would not be the first time that I give credit to the mistakes of an author, but the

1) Aunt Mimi and Albert are relocated by a Road Home-ish government program to Northampton, Massachusetts. The locals are appalled.
2) Colson, Sonny and Prez form a battle-rap trio. Their rise to Beastie Boys-level fame is chronicled.
3) Antoine's cousin William Moreland comes to visit him. The two alcoholic rogues plow

Worthwhile Spike Lee movies: Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X, He Got Game, Bamboozled, 25th Hour, Inside Man.
They're all flawed movies, no doubt. But Lee's movies tend to be flawed in interesting ways that prompt debate. He has strong opinions and isn't shy about expressing them using bold strokes and a loud voice.

I insist on being here when they're born. It helps them to trust me.

Dark Side > The Wall.
I love The Wall, but Dark Side has the same epic sound and themes, has less filler, can easily be listened to in a single sitting, and, despite its brevity, has better songs.
Another Brick in the Wall, Mother and Comfortably Numb are excellent, don't get me wrong, but Money, Us v. Them and,

@ kimstaff and About Time - Right there with you on Dos Passos. I love that whole generation of writers, but Manhattan Transfer may be my favorite American novel from that time.
Fiction: Infinite Jest (4x), Underworld (3x), Ulysses (3x), Catcher in the Rye (3x), Odyssey (2x), The Road (2x).
Non-fiction: The Power Broker

@Nouvelle Blargh - I would argue that The Wire, Homicide and The Shield have made any future cop show unnecessary. Past cop shows still have their place as historic artifacts and influences on those three. For example, while Homicide is undeniably better than Law & Order, the first few seasons of L&O featured cases

No, Homicide is not redundant. Most of the reasons have already been mentioned, but I would add the aimlessness of Homicide to the list of charms that make it distinct from The Wire, and most of television, for that matter.
The first two seasons in particular have these endless scenes where the characters talk about
