Set In New York
I haven't seen this movie in years, but I have a book called "Celluloid Skyline" about the cinematic history of New York, and there are several pages that discuss how integral the city is to this movie. I don't think it was filmed on location, but there were a lot of real architectural landmarks

The book mostly deals with his pre-Hollywood days, but I haven't minded that a bit.

I downloaded an Yves Montand torrent years ago and have been really glad I did. He's got a great, conversational voice. And he acts!

My Subject of Interest
"East Bound and Down" sounds pretty interesting; the show I'm most excited about in the near future, anyway.
But I'll admit I was pretty disappointed to discover it wasn't a Smokey and the Bandit series.
