Marvel update: Hawkeye still amazing. Daredevil still fantastic.
I wouldn't say "usually". I mean, it happens fairly often, sure. I think most covers these days though, especially from Marvel, tend not to depict something happening in the comic. They're mostly just artistic posing.
Pretty much the best way to put it.
You could start by just picking up the first volume of Mark Waid's run on the title. It's a great introduction to the character.
@twitter-499832989:disqus There's a free mini-comic about Rocket Raccoon you can read on Marvel's site right now:
@avclub-87caf7c42aedbada42572e2374eed08d:disqus Sure, if you can trust anything Quicksilver says.
Hoodrats 2: Hoodrat Warriors got me high though.
I liked it a lot too, but I agree with the review that it's a good foundation, but I'm expecting (hoping?) that the book really takes off in future issues.
I've heard this series is pretty good, but I've never picked it up because it seemed to me that killing off the original Swamp Thing and somehow plucking Alec Holland out of Heaven to be the new Swamp Thing was really stupid and arbitrary.
I like Martha, Donna, and Amy. I've also liked what we've seen of Clara so far. It's only Rose and River who are insufferable. One guess why.
Why would you loathe the Silver Age? Especially when you like All-Star Superman, which has many loving homages to that era?
To me, it's not just the writing - they want a kind of Catwoman-type character, but Alex Kingston is just completely, utterly wrong for that role.
"The woman at the shop who gave Clara the Doctor’s number has to be River Song, right? It’s so obvious that I’m trying to think of any other plausible possibility, but I’m coming up empty. And no, Romana is not plausible."
Alveolar flaps aren't some part of the genitals?
"Oh, I forgot to tell you about the one side effect! One side of your body is affected by temporary paralysis."
I recommend Multiversity Comics (http://multiversitycomics.c…. I like their content quite a bit.
Dude, you need to read Secret Warriors.
It's kind of amazing to argue that shiny rocks are inherently more valuable than paper, isn't it? As if anything in the world has some sort of objective value.
That is true.
