Glad I'm not the only one who can't stand Korine. I've stayed away from Spring Breakers because of his involvement, but I enjoy scantily clad teenager, so I'll probably watch this one.

FYI: It wasn't trending. The article Smitty linked says as much. That's not to say there weren't a lot of racist tweets, though.
Not that I think it makes a huge difference, but it was never 'trending'. From your own link: "Early reports the racial slur was trending on Twitter in Boston were debunked by Deadspin"
Oh yeah, Melisandre. I hesitated about mentioning Osha but I do think she still counts as 'notable' even if they don't seem interested in remembering she exists this season.
I don't think Olenna was actually in this episode. (Other than maybe in the background somewhere at Tommen's coronation.) Also no Ygritte this episode, and we haven't seen Osha in ages.
Yeah, I really don't get what the plan is for the Craster Wives here. Sure, life under Craster and the Night's Watch traitors was horrible. You're tough. But how does any of that prepare you for life in the wilderness, in constant winter, without food or supplies or any form of shelter?
You'd think he could've at least left a note.
He's still hanging out in King's Landing. I assume he spends most of his time torturing that sorcerer.
Took Gendry away.
"It has been said that dragon-fire could melt and consume the Rings of Power, but there is not now any dragon left on earth in which the old fire is hot enough; nor was there ever any dragon, not even Ancalagon the Black, who could have harmed the One Ring, the Ruling Ring, for that was made by Sauron himself."
Obviously not everyone agrees, but I thought Archer pulled it off this past season.
This is the first FoC I've read in a long time that actually came across as thoughtful and sincere. Usually they're just click-bait garbage.
It's about being on a boat, right?
I recently watched Trapped in the Closet out of a sort of mean-spirited curiosity, but it turns out it's fucking great, so now I'm an R. Kelly fan and I don't even have the excuse of having been hooked before I knew he was a scumbag.
Oh, good, good. I think we're pretty much on the same page then, as far as "but it's TV" goes. (Well, at least where TV == Archer. If the same issue were treated this lightly on a more grounded show I'd probably take offense.) Anyway, if it wasn't clear from my previous comment, I don't really have a problem with how…
There are many reasons to freeze your sperm other than donating it to a bank. For example, to retain the option to have kids after a vasectomy. Or after some other cause (e.g., aging) leaves you unable to conceive. I don't know what the intention was in Archer's case (possibly to make it available as a donation after…
It is possible to have your sperm frozen without placing it in the public domain. I don't remember the season 2 conversation where Archer talked about freezing his sperm but from Lana's speech it sounded like she went to Archer's personal doctor, not to a sperm bank. Assuming I understood that correctly that is not rem…
It's also self-serving on Malory's part, though. The (lie/truth) doesn't just get Archer back into Lana's good graces; it also keeps one of Isis's best agents (arguably the best) from quitting.
She didn't become pregnant until years after Archer's cancer scare, so "she thought Archer was going to die" doesn't make any sense.
I have no idea which pair you think are the "pros" and which are the "cons".
