I don't know enough about Lifetime to know if either claim is true, and you probably have sound points to make about how Lifetime is treated by people who don't actually watch it, but I really don't understand how you're reading "a lot of people who watch Lifetime are racist" as "Lifetime is only watched by racists".

You're really good at deploying that particular meme. Did you know that?

Do you have sources that go into more detail about what you're talking about? I'm not trying to argue or cast doubt here; I just don't know anything and I'd like to read whatever you've read and form my own opinion.

"fatandsloppy's assessment that it's a racist network just watched by racists is wrong."

I never said anything about egging his neighbor's house. I don't care that he egged his neighbor's house (though I imagine I'd feel differently if I were the neighbor in question). I'm also not sure how, "he was only a *little* drunk, mostly he was intoxicated with *other* drugs, and he wasn't going *that* fast!" gets

As a tangent, I really love that Sean O'Neal has seen every episode of Entourage. I too have seen every episode of Entourage, and I don't know why, and knowing that he has done this thing makes me feel a little less alone in the world.

I don't know about snark, but you *definitely* don't hate Shyamalan enough.

I understand your point, but I object to filing a DUI under "harmless antics".

I read your comment three times, with mounting confusion, before I figured out that you weren't making a joke or quoting anything.

I don't know that I'd agree to that. I'd prefer to say that all drunk drivers and domestic abusers are smelly shitsacks of the highest order, that it's unproductive at best to try to work out which kind of shit-sackery is 'worse', and that there's nothing 'blind' about hating anyone who engages in either.

I thought he was pretty good in The Battle of Shaker Heights, too.

Thom (and the rest of the TV crew) are just so hypercritical in general. I mostly watch via MLB.tv and often find myself switching over to the opposing team's feed, just so I can hear the game called by people who seem to *like* baseball. I've never risen to that level of frustration while listening to Marty on the

It's completely reasonable to suppose that anyone who thinks Pete Rose and Mark McGuire were *pitchers* is going to have a tough time with baseball questions in general. Gender doesn't really come into that. (On the other hand, Schilling was a perfectly reasonable guess that didn't merit condescension.)

A.

Since we're talking about 'the Brennamans', I should clarify that my ambivalence only applies to Marty. Thom I just straight-up can't stand.

As a Reds fan, it's probably fair to say that Marty Brennaman is 'beloved', but I also don't think I'm alone in thinking that he's a huge douchebag. It's a lot like how I imagine anyone who has watched a significant amount of Jeopardy! feels about Alex Trebek.

Whenever he isn't in the byline, all the other contributors should be asking, "Where's O'Neal?"

For anyone still not sold on the quiet joy that is watching Bill Belichick say and do things, here is Bill Belichick making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I think I read somewhere that historically, the Academy likes to see big, fleshy, especially-erect type penises in that category.

Is it still free?
