Okay, I buy the "mother/Ayn Rand" example. There are many situations where the oxford comma is neither ambiguous nor necessary to resolve ambiguity, though, in which case it's a stylistic preference that arguably should be applied consistently. So you still have to pick a side.

When does using the oxford comma cause ambiguity?

To be fair, NBC's blatantly idiotic dreck is going largely unwatched these days.

Eh, Harmon already gave a pretty solid finale for his version of the show. I don't really have much interest in seeing him try to 'wrap up' somebody else's version of Community. I like the idea of him writing a one-off episode, though.

Echoing others, but that's exactly how I felt about first couple episodes of New Girl. (And why I haven't watched any more of it.)

When I was a boy, I wanted a catcher's mitt, but my Dad wouldn't get it for me. So I held my breath until I passed and hit my head on the coffee table. The doctor thought I might have brain damage!

People *do* get away from the cops. Pretty often. That's not to say it's a good idea to try, though.

He's appeared as "The Rock" in a pro-wrestling context as recently as last month's "Wrestlemania". Hey may have at one point been trying to distance himself from that image but if he still is that's an odd way to go about it.

The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson?

Why is Ken Keeler controversial/hated?I'm looking at his writing credits — is it just because of The Principal and the Pauper? I remember most of his other episodes as being at least okay, and El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer (The Mysterious Voyage of Homer) is easily in my top 10 favorite Simpsons episodes.

It's 'floppy cock' on the Hulu Plus version as well.
