Or maybe the Lisa Simpson? Or Malcolm in Malcolm in the Middle? Or Kerry from 8 Simple Rules? … Is there any oldest or youngest child that are intelligent?!

I noticed it too! Including the blatantly white son. (His eyes don't look  Asian; not in the least!) Elizabeth, Maddy and Zoe could all pass for Asian/biracial but no way is Josh anything but white.

Buffy wasn't too bad with the family stuff. Admittedly, no young kids really involved apart from Dawn, who was part of the overall arc anyway.

In all fairness, if Josh is the oldest child, then it's reasonable to expect the oldest to look after the younger ones. On the other hand, he should know by now that Maddy is the Lisa Simpson to Josh's Bart; and we all know which of those two we'd trust to look after the rest of the kids!

Massive dislike! The writing is far more natural and flows like conversations in Britain actually flow. Additionally, the characters are actually likeable, believable and grow throughout the series.

Doctor Who is freakin' awesome. If you manage to get past Season 3 (the worst, in the New Doctor Who, IMO, but I'm biased because I am a huge Rose fan), then you'll love it even more!

Honestly, the best part of Terra Nova would be if Community did an episode completely mocking Terra Nova (and Falling Skies; I'm sure they could do both in one episode).

I think Maddy and Zoe are both under 16. I think Josh might be 15 too. Not sure about Skye. But the amount of screen time these three gets is at least half, so it's a justifiable objection to make, IMO.

I keep hoping to see a new X-Files equivalent but I have yet to find it. (My hopes are on Fringe - I have only seen the pilot but it seemed pretty awesome from what little I saw).

My boyfriend and I disagree about Falling Skies and Terra Nova. I hate Falling Skies more; he has seen all of Terra Nova and tells me to just wait and watch it get worse and worse. Sad times. Spielberg, what the hell were you thinking? Did you have to make the main cast so lame?

I'm going to list all that we know of the main family so far.

As far as I can tell, having had a vague interest in Wicca in true teen fashion, Book of Shadows is the standard name of a book of magic/spells, that often does get passed down through the family. It's why I don't mind the term at all; it's actually fairly realistic/consistent with common Wiccan practices.

I quite like them. I like the fact that Dawn is fairly ruthless and uncaring, but has a soft spot for her daughter and that Charles clearly has a thing for Dawn. It's oddly teen-ish for two individuals who already have teen children that it's kinda entertaining to watch.
And I have to admit, I significantly prefer Dawn

It was great at illustrating the hypocrisy of the gunslingers, wasn't it? I did feel the desire to punch Andrea in the face though. Isn't she a little old for all these teen tantrums?

I think the last scene made up for the show being so awfully stagnant (and does explain why nobody seemed to move or do anything this season). I do think it was one of the most powerful scenes the show has done so far, if only because it made even me devastated about Sophia, whom I wanted dead before she even went

I think one of the simplest ways of improving the show would be to focus less on the people currently being the main cast. Lori is a selfish bitch and has been throughout the show. She wants Shane to do one thing, snaps at him for sleeping with her when she is equally responsible, all she can do is moan about the

I have to admit that the scene, right at the end, between Darryl and Carol was also a highlight for me. We've seen the vulnerabilities and insecurities of many of the others, but this episode was the first one where it really highlighted and emphasised what gets under Darryl's skin. And for Carol to justifiably (and

I've only seen a season and a half of Lost, but it was brilliant. From the sounds of it, the theory did deteriorate into…well..fiction, but the first season and a half was brilliant, with character drama and intriguing personalities that were not nauseatingly the perfect family (to say the least).

I have a few issues to raise.

I wouldn't mind a bit more male eye-candy. Besides, I feel like it might be difficult for all the teen witches to procreate with only two men around, unless they find a way to do it with 2 eggs? (Which could, incidentally, benefit Muggle medicine. Wait, sorry, wrong witches.) I'm still struggling to understand why and
