Music operating under the umbrella of being for smart people, except smart people are too smart to fall for that—but the dumb people eat it up to make themselves feel better.  It sounds cynical (and maybe it is) but I don't think it's too unfair of a description of Bjork's last few albums.

I scanned the article to see if John Goodman's name appeared.  It did not—and I then immediately realized what makes me nostalgic for Roseanne and all interest was lost.

And while we're at it, what about Ergoat!?  I mean, the guy reads one page of an article then up and quits, leaving us with an unfinished legacy that has lasted the ages.  He is a little overrated by the fans that deify him, but you can't deny the influence.

Unless your correction was noted and the article edited before I read it, the sentence merely suggests that they are most likely the first punk band someone would "think" of when asked to do so.  But, yeah, stupid motherfuckers…..

Ourlivia = Buffy

If Hey Dude was lame, then so was Saved By The Bell.  It's practically the same premise and the same corny jokes, just a different setting.  In other words: I love both Hey Dude and Saved By The Bell.

U2 would fit that bill then.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS

What has he not been able to leave alone?

It ends at the beginning of the first book.  I loved it.  I don't get why people hated it.  It was exactly what the whole series had been pointing to.  Ka is a wheel.

Oh by the way, which ones ?est

You'd have to bring up "Lower, Wolves" for that.

I enjoy the music of Pearl Jam.

Holy shit.

Hey, Beauty and the Beast is back!

Josh Rouse deserves the key to the city.  Humanity is only hurting itself by ignoring him.

As the pages turn, my eyes are glued!

True.  Collective entity may have been a poor choice of words.  It comes down to how the collective noun is acting.  If they are acting as individuals in a group (a band or a sports team), its treated as plural, but if they are a collective entity acting as one (NATO), its treated as singular as you pointed out.  You

They are a collective entity, so you would treat it as plural and use "debut".  Same thing with a sports team: "Dillon Panthers win!"—not, "Dillon Panthers wins!"

Whoa whoa whoa…The Last Crusade is fucking awesome.  Way better than Temple and I'll go ahead and say it—I think I like it better than Lost Ark.
