Absolutely. I know a few people like that, including one of my cousins. He knows how to schmooze, be a Good-Time Charlie and make you think he actually cares… but peel back that surface layer and there's nothing underneath.
I think Nate believes he cares about people…. but we all know he only cares about himself.

Marty.

Marty.

Didn't Tyler Perry's studio partially burn down not too long ago? We need to find someone to finish the job.

This is an episode that resonates strongly with me, but not for anything the regular cast does — it's Emily Previn and the sad circumstances of her life and death. She chokes to death because no one's there to save her. No one finds her for at least a week. No one comes to her funeral. Thank God for Ruth this time,

Was anybody else thinking ``Resistance is futile'' during the scenes with Ruth and Alma?

``but those who are close to him know that when the sine wave of their life hits a low ebb, David is the person they want nearby.'' Brilliant. This, I think, is precisely why David is my favorite character. When I rewatched the whole series last year on HBO On Demand, it had been several years at least since I last

Nah… Ian McShane>James Callis for Mance Rayder. But yeah, they really do need to find a role for Callis on this show.

Agreed. I really looked forward to seeing it because I loved `Almost Famous' and was terribly disappointed.

Are you referring to the version that aired on network TV, the one that had extra footage, or is there yet another cut (making 3 total). I thought the version I saw when it premiered on ABC many years ago was a stronger film and filled in some necessary backstory.

No — they aired a repeat this week. He'll be back live on June 8th.
