Well, ok. That's true.

Thank you! I haven't thought about it in years (many years), but god I'm infuriated all over again, remembering that open-mouthed, blank-eyed quizzical stare whenever he had to convey inner conflict. WRONG! WRONG! You asshole! Get offa the screen!

@avclub-087b52206cd164583fd17f0fa1c5d6a4:disqus Already do.

Why? I'm sad enough.

I wonder if it'll be a relief when it finally goes.

For Christmas I got season 3 on DVD. I don't care anymore. Maybe someday.

cheer cheer

It billed "and PATTI PAGE, the SINGING RAGE!" on the poster.

At least the big three (Patti Page, Charles Durning, and Jack Klugman) had very long, very productive careers. Don't feel bad.

It's funny what sticks with you, isn't it.

I also came here to state my objection to this guy STILL BEING up on AVClub's homepage. There's something about his gaping maw, uneven haircut and studiously expressionless eyes that seems like he's trying to convey an aggressively-affected unaffected barglero pampler bu!

Which in turn is breaking down stereotypes about friendless, loveless,  mother's-basement-living AV Club posters, so everybody wins or loses!

@avclub-997c221538094d134659141cf61d51e3:disqus Well, "Bride of Frankenstein" is only one of the best movies ever, in or out of genre. There's nothing generic about that.

"Let's Scare Jessica To Death" had that reaction on us - we stayed up late to watch it, my mom, my sister and myself. It freaked us out from the get-go..and about 10 minutes in there was this huge "BANG" from our evaporative cooler, just over our heads.

I received it as a Christmas present about 12-13 years ago, on DVD, from a guy I was dating. He'd never seen many horror films at all, so we were catching him up (he liked "The Shining", "Halloween", and "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" quite a bit, for the record - he still talks about how good "Halloween" was).

I remember that joke. It was especially funny because it was so close to true - for instance, there actually was a cheapie horror movie called "Don't Go In The House!"
