Yes. It actually is. Wooden, wooden acting, with all the voices sounding dubbed. I think it is one of those movies viewing of which really isn't the same outside of a movie theatre.

My mom made us hide our eyes during the preview for "Godzilla Vs The Smog Monster". I guess she wanted to protect us from something, although and meanwhile…never mind.

I don't think it's very…good, either. I loved it the first time I saw it, in the theatre, but it didn't hold up to repeat viewing. At all. It might, still, if it were on the big screen.
