Yes, the fault isn't with the actor in any way. It's her naivete and vulnerability that I personally find most uninteresting.

Moonraker was a LOT better when I rewatched it a few years ago. I still don't like the space stuff, but there's an awful lot of fun otherwise.

I just re-watched the opening ski chase/fight again, and holy cow it's just so much fun. Even the inserts of Moore in close-up made it more fun, and when he turned his ski pole into a mini-missile laucher - OH, that James Bond!

Carole Bouquet's vengeance-seeking "Melina", my favorite hands down. Beautiful, smart, has a crossbow AND a mustache, and a very fine actor as well.
