I grew up near Keokuk, so it was a perfectly normal name to me. It's pronounced "KEY-uh-kuck", btw, though probably incorrectly.

That was so fucking bizarre, and genuinely offensive…actually crediting well-known songs to fictitious creators. And THAT, children, is why the only way to make really huge money in music is to own your own songs lock, stock and barrel. I'm looking at you, Dolly Parton (though it gets more and more difficult to do so).

And their story was good enough that I want to see more (I just saw this today - blech, mostly). I was in high school once and, believe me, I knew what "I Can't Fight This Feeling" was really about.
