Really good episode. A lot of very funny stuff, and the framing device was killer. It is a good sign for me if I am grinning like an idiot from the first few minutes of the episode.

Some of Homicide's best years had nothing to do with Simon outside of the premise being adapted from his book (which is pretty good). James Yoshimura wrote the best episodes of that show, no contest.

Rabin's post 30Rock tweet tonight:

I cannot like this enough.

Oh wow that did not even occur to me. That's pretty clever.

Pretty telling that when you click on his profile and his latest comment begins with "I don't get out of the house much these days." Rabin needs love and friendship since it appears he is lacking one or the other or both.

I said my piece last week, but I just want to add this. What is up with you and sad trombone Nathan? I'm more or less certain this is the second or third time I've seen it in the last 3 weeks.

David Simon is that you??

Ever since the D&D episode I've hoped we'd see more of him, honestly I think he would have made a great addition to the main study group even. The likelihood of the later happening is basically zero though, so it's nice to see Real Neil playing himself out to Daybreak.

This is very helpful and I will do it thank you!

Oh, cool. Well netflix only has season 1 so that's all I'll be watching of it for now.

So I saw The Walking Dead pilot on netflix yesterday. Not as good as the two other AMC shows first episodes I've seen (Mad Men and Breaking Bad) but not bad. Pretty average with a really good makeup department. I'll probably check out the rest of it when I get time. Still hope Community beats it on that best in

How 'bout a beer Morn?

That is really cool.

This comment on that article is pretty amusing.

MTM is all sorts of cool. You can pick it up at any point and watch however much you want. And honestly you can mix the shows around in your viewing order.

I Love Lucy also has stories that stretch out over a season and lots of things can happen. Sort of anyway. You can pretty much divide seasons by what the premise of it is (Ricky has a part in a movie in LA, they move to a larger house, etc.)

House. Although I'm not really sure if it's a guilty pleasure considering I get no pleasure out of watching it at this point.

honestly I thought it looked fine

Fallout New Vegas is a lot of fun. I must have played it for months on end just getting totally immersed.
