If by "dark retelling of the fairy tale" you mean "closer to the source than the bowdlerized adaptations were" then yes.

Why the hell is every music competition show about singing? There are other ways of making music aside from vocally, people!

While I agree that penetrating five things at once is an excellent demonstration of the power of the Force, cars would not be my first choice.

Ghost Hunters has a problem with "talking over" in the other sense of the term. Everything is "listen to this little blip of sound from the gap between words as we're continually yammering." Have the cast be quiet, put cameras on their heads ("I totally saw something, but the cameraman was pointed the wrong way"), and

Next season will be the D-string: three strips of duct tape.

Go ahead and point out where I called you an asshole or otherwise made a personal insult against you. None of my posts has an edit.

Let's just go ahead and catalog these:
1) Resorting to "common sense" to support your point

Presumably rock + heat = lava. It would be hella expensive to keep it at-hand though..

What I find legitimately interesting about the scenario described is how a bunch of teenagers would suddenly be in the position of figuring out how to operate utility plants and manage some sort of food production. I'm taking a wild flying guess that this isn't really addressed in the books.

On the one hand, I categorically dislike wishing harm upon other human beings. On the other hand, if would be all kinds of awesome if this thing sank on its maiden voyage.

That's a very lovely poem. Have you been spending late nights at coffee houses?

How does one pump lava, anyway? Wouldn't it melt the pump?

Clearly, the problem was the lack of "Rock" somewhere in the title. Otherwise they could have called that programming set the "Rock Block" and it would have become immensely popular on the strength of that rhyme.

They're not celebrities, so your point is moot.
