There is no way in the real world that Peter and Alicia wouldn't find out about those porn shots of Grace. You only need one porn aficionado with a modicum of knowlege about Chicago politics to leak it to a journalist.

Oh thank dog I'm not the only one who is more emotionally invested in this season of "The Good Wife" than the last season of "Breaking Bad". It was getting lonely in my therapy session of one.

Phew - I thought it was just me.  I barely heard a word Channing said, so mesmerised was I with her face.  I have just been rewatching the first four seasons of the "West Wing", and the changes in her face are astonishing, well beyond what normal ageing would wreak.

He wears a wedding ring…

He wears a wedding ring…

That was really enjoyable.  Thank you, Blessed.

I wonder if the lack of sympathy towards the characters in this episode has something to do with the fact that the writers were women (Regina Corrado and Liz Sagal, Katey's sister).

"What the fuck was Kalinda supposed to do? Tell Alicia she slept with Peter the day they met?"

Mamie isn't in her mother's league (or stratosphere), but dang if they don't look like two peas.

Agree again, tossin. Why is it that American shows, no matter how seemingly sophisticated, always seem to end on a puritanical note? Why does the sexually confident and unashamed woman have to be doubly punished, firstly by being married to a vicious murderer and then by having her confidence revealed (ridiculously)

Thomas, maybe the intention was to highlight how Kalinda's manipulative adoption of false personas frequently beguiles genuinely decent people. The way the nurse asked Kalinda out is just the sweet, self-effacing way some people offer the hand of friendship (in the knowledge that it might be rejected). This was yet

Bubble busting
The bubble is a moot issue now that the internets are buzzing with the news that Cumming has signed a new deal to promote him to series regular for three more seasons. So, from imminent cancellation to five seasons. Calling Mr Lazarus (and syndication). There can never be too much Cumming, as the

And another thing…
Excellent review, as always, David.

Post for crissakes!
I feel compelled to post in an attempt to drive up numbers and thereby retain David's insightful reviews.

Disappointing
Excellent and insightful recap, David. I sincerely hope the lack of traffic (which is somewhat surprising for such a good series) doesn't result in an end to the reviews.

Doppelganger
I second Meridith's thanks for the recaps albeit we are a small (but discerning!) bunch.

Shortage of sodium thiopental
Colbert presented an hilarious overview of the nation-wide shortage of sodium thiopental.

Agree completely with Yoga Fire - Melissa George's simplistic and over-egged portrayal contrasted embarrassingly with the nuanced performances of the other cast members. Yet another of our "successful" Australian exports Kidman Hogan (Gibson was always yours). She was just one of many reasons I preferred Season 2
