For me the magical thing about the kids was not that they grew overnight, but that their clothes grew with them.

@avclub-cb0e59b8f769a8698b9f7154dd8809b5:disqus Are you proud you haven't listened to Led Zeppelin IV, either?

@dah_sab:disqus The actress is 21, relax.

@Prankster36:disqus Andorians were pretty prominent in Enterprise.  Don't laugh, they were among the best episodes.

That puts fun. somewhere south of The Goo Goo Dolls.

It finally occurred to me the other day that Bran is eventually going to possess one of Dany's dragons.

Yet I did NOT get a Lost notification.

What I found amusing about the "libertarian=Rand and only Rand" bit is that most of the time when I hear Rand mentioned, it's by a progressive.  Rand actually hated libertarians, although many libertarians took to some—some—of her teachings.

This is similar to the point that atheists make about morality: if the only thing keeping you from raping and murdering is fear of punishment in the afterlife, I probably don't want to know you.

It works in the same way that libertarians are all about legalized murder.

I guess I'm not a sociopath, because my reaction to the scene was to double up in my chair like I'd been punched in the gut.  I do mean that literally.  And I knew it was Movie Magic.  If I'd been in the situation she was in, I'd probably have been Not For Emetophobes.

This.  Unlike Molly, I was never convinced that Chilton was safe just because he was in Silence Of The Lambs.  Fuller doesn't have the rights to that.  They've already done a different take on the Benjamin Raspail story.

Yes, but the falseness was the problem, not the farming.

That goes all the way back to TOS though.  I'm particularly reminded of the one where the spores are infecting the people of the planet and Spock wants to stay there with the pretty blonde (hard to blame him).  Later, Kirk literally smacks some sense into him.

The other one I saw wasn't Ned, actually.  It is something yet to come, about which I will say no more.

The wedding thing was one of only two spoilers I knew about from back when there was only one Game of Thrones thread.  I wish I hadn't known.  My jaw would have dropped even lower tonight.  Turns out the second biggest jaw dropper of the night was Jon leaving Ygritte behind (by my own jaw dropping measurements).
