hahahaha the next episode is supposedly in "a few months" hahahahahaha

My friend asked me this question offhand earlier, and I actually had a really tough time coming up with an answer - are there many (if any) TV shows that are well-known enough that everyone knows them (even very casual viewers) and are universally regarded as bad shows? Most shows that are disliked by most savvy

Why does everyone hate Into Darkness? Yes, Spock yelling KHAAAN was super hokey but the rest of it was the most fun I've had at the movies in years.

It's amazing how night and day her (short) performance here is when compared to her on Mad Men. I've only really ever seen her as Betty Draper (and in X-Men, but I barely remember her and she left little to no impression there), and I'm pretty sure I just had the idea in my head that she was incapable of playing any

I didn't quite like the last couple of episodes as much as the rest of the season (though I still liked them quite a bit), but goddamn did Jon Hamm knock it out of the park. I thought Tina Fey and Jerry Minor were hilarious as well.

For the record, the Jacqueline character was originally cast with Megan Dodds, so the character's similarity to Jenna may just be Krakowski's performance instead of the writing.

I think I once watched half a season of Arrow in one day? Given that that's like 7 hours that might be my record.

Jacqueline definitely does seem like a slightly more rational well-adjusted Jenna, but the differences are distinct enough that it feels like playing to Krakowski's strengths rather than a retread of Jenna in a different environment. I'm able to distinguish the two characters well enough in my head that it works for

If nothing else, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is completely worth it for continuing to bring the 30 Rock-style one-liners I've been missing, such as referring to Germany as "those guys from soccer".

I honestly wouldn't say it's worth catching up with if you're that far behind. The show can be vaguely entertaining at times, but at this point I'm mainly watching out of habit as a way to kill 40 minutes a week, and I'm considering just dropping it before next season (something that I very rarely do with shows). I

For some reason I still watch this show and I can't figure out what the everloving fuck her current plotline is supposed to be. I think I might have zoned out when they were initially setting up her new circumstances and missed some crucial bits of table setting because I now have no idea what the fuck is going on or

Ok, Parks isn't exactly analogous given the situation, but still, the series finale of a long-running show should be able to get better numbers than that. I'm pretty sure comedy is dead on NBC regardless of pedigree.

I think it would've bombed on NBC, but not because of anything to do with the show itself - I legitimately believe that unless NBC commits to a CW-type model of lower ratings standards, it will be literally be impossible for them to sustain a sitcom given their place in the current TV landscape. If they couldn't get

I'm only partway through episode 1 but I'm loving it as well. I haven't liked a new sitcom right off the bat this much in a very long time, so glad it's not being shoved onto NBC to die before it could even finish the season.

I just watched a show that did this and it really bugged me. Was it Nashville, maybe? (I forget if you still watch Nashville)

Remember when Michael J. Fox had a sitcom that nobody cared about and completely bombed? That honestly feels like an eternity ago.

I'm so glad I wasn't spoiled for that one thing at the very end. It legitimately gave me goosebumps.

Small thing, but it's really nice seeing the study table still full after how thoroughly the group membership's been gutted over the past year.

BAZINGA

From what I could tell, all of the crazy costumes seemed to come from the same episode. Hopefully the season allows itself just the one such episode, the way season 5 allowed itself just two (MeowMeowBeenz and Floor is Lava, if I recall correctly).
