I'm firmly in the hatewatching category of viewers, but that was a genuinely good episode.

This was a better movie than Drive. Everyone pluck your eyeballs out with chopsticks if you didn't like it.

Maybe quality was the wrong word. Basic enjoyment might be better.

I can't think of another show that took such a nosedive in quality from pilot to episode two than this.

The outward Don Draper has always been reactive to the circumstances of both the immediate context of the agency (which has always been the leviathan of the series), and the larger context of American history, and in both cases they are descending into an ugly reality where it's impossible to reconcile the outward…

So, this episode: mustard or pants?

I loved this episode. It's the first time the show has really embraced the black humour of the character, and left the unrelenting grimness of some of the early episodes for the gleefully over the top scoring and pacing of this one.

Also 'Ceuf' isn't a word. Pretty sure it's supposed to be "Œuf" and someone at NBC is incompetent; shocker, I know.

I watched the first episode and this show is a goddamn car wreck. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put TWO FLASHBACKS in the first twenty fucking minutes of the show should be fired, blacklisted, and the earth salted where they lay.

He's a hack whose only function is to push classic liberal economic think pieces that are so ephemeral and fluffy they would float off into the sky if they weren't literally displayed on people's screens.
