Emergency evacuation of this thread initiated, there's a crustacean loose (specifically of the Lobsters variety.)

Well, let me PUT my thinking cap on … well, it's not a film I have in my vast LOCKER of titles, I guess if I were to DOT the i's and cross the t's … well it shouldn't be something I should be encouraging anyway as it IS not behaviour we should be promoting anyway.

Look who's talking.

My dad's still working at 83.

I'd say I'd been missing you all this time Lobsters except … I don't. Like not even a little bit. Like not even the smallest possible measurement of quantum Planck space which is literally the smallest something can be. Just so we're clear, here.

Anton Yelchin. That was just awful.

I have a book on the show and one of the ideas for a follow up was that Basil went to a hotel in Spain where the manager was even worse than he was (the boot was definitely on the other foot.)

You just know 2016 is going to do its best to take as many of us as it can on the way out, don't you?

Even though this article says the character was Russian in the German version of Fawlty Towers, I remember hearing somewhere that he was from Kazakhstan (given a 40+% of the population being ethnic Russian, quite possible.)

I think you're missing the wood for the trees. I had a few extra reasons for loving Train to Busan. I travel to South Korea almost every year, I've travelled on that very service to Busan many times, and I've spent the best part of a decade trying to learn Korean. Even taking those elements out, I had a great time

That's not true that he did nothing.

I'm guessing that wasn't the KTX from that description as a trip on that is fantastic (and also under 3 hours, lack of zombies permitting.)

Counterpoint: I completely disagree!

I hired that film on VHS and just watched it in my residential college's TV room. Most of the time there was no-one there and I don't think anyone cared, anyway. Should see that film again sometime.

The Skin I Live In is a great film, I even went as far as to find the book it is based on which is a … bit different. Usually watch it back to back with the totally unrelated Another Earth as I happened to get that film at the same time which I also like very much.

Scrawler, long time no see! (though maybe that's just because I've been in all the wrong places, the story of my life.)

I had additional enjoyment out of it as I've caught that very KTX between Seoul and Busan many times. It's an extremely smooth and fast ride. Fortunately, mayhem free. In fact, the most dramatic thing I can ever remember was an apology at Busan station for the KTX back to Seoul being 90 seconds late. The train arrived

Baskin's a movie btw. An extremely fucked up one at that just going by the trailer.

Look, this year has been so dreadful in so many ways, we need to be able to celebrate something, surely?

I love that on top of the films that are listed which weren't reviewed which I'll check out, this comment section is already starting to fill up with even more recommendations. You guys are the best!
