Oh yes, I agree. Just wanted to link everything with Community because their episodes were great too …

Uh, I too am in favour of them directing that particular film or films.

Something else I forgot to mention that I don't remember seeing coming up last year. Ming-na Wen and Mark Dacascos - both over 50 but looking way under it, both beating several kinds of hell out of each other.

I really do wish we had more Illyria on screen. However, what we did get was absolute gold.

Compared to some of these, there's a way to go yet in terms of being unusual in Hollywood.

Well, she's engaged to her Stalker co-star in real life, so I guess we'll see whether that agent and several other people deserve a beating or not when all's said and done in the end depending on how that all pans out in the end.

Some interesting developments with Daisy in the last few episodes: after being taken over by Hive and then withdrawing so badly she wanted to be taken back, before rebounding badly when Hive couldn't, she then started some serious death tripping which she would have followed through on if Lincoln hadn't gotten in her

Well, they weren't the brightest sparks in the Armed Forces, that probably had a lot to do with why they were out there in the first place. Also, like you said, maybe they were one of those parts (every country has one somewhere) where the roads are terrible.

Hopefully, at the very least they'll do a truncated Season 5 to bring it up to 100+ if nothing else, as opposed to no Season 5 at all (really, really wished they done if nothing else a 12-13 Season 6 for Angel and especially more Illyria).

The movie "Dog Soldiers" directed by Neil Marshall had a great running gag over who was going to win an England vs Germany football match.

Seriously, Season 2 and 3 are worth catching up on. The episode with Gemma Simmons stranded on an alien planet with an abundance of blue filter (4,722 Hours) is excellent better than most movies outstanding and the follow up to it did not disappoint.

I didn't know Sean O'Neal had a second job.

A lot of that for a long time was in appreciation of the fact that once Brett Dalton was able to stop being the whole Agent Blandy McBlanderson thing, he just soared.

There were a lot of good surprises in Civil War. The reveal behind who was driving that car we were flashing back to, the significance of that phone message Zemo was listening to, and that scene between T'Challa and Zemo at the very end when T'Challa finally realises what his quest for vengeance was leading him to.

Well …

I think we've definitely seen progression and evolution of the character from when we first saw her in the first episode and all up the change in the character over time has been working a lot more often than not IMO, especially in that scene where she John Wick'ed everyone.

Another example of TV easily outplaying cinema was the T-600s with the rubberised skin. The Sarah Connor Chronicles had one which looked like what you'd imagine from the description in the first movie and which was in one of the most eerie scenes from the show. (The piano music off screen torture scene). The design

I think the movies (movies in general, not just the MCU) could learn a thing or two from what this show has been doing.

They've just been killing it, I think. Year after year has just been getting better and better. Ever since they were able to throw off the shackles of the Hydra reveal, in Season 1, I think it's turned into one of the best shows on television.

I was looking at last seasons reviews and I can't believe I didn't see anyone make the connection between Hive consuming 5 humans to heal himself and the end of Season 1 of Angel (To Shanshu in L.A.) where they did almost exactly the same thing but with vampires.
