I'm with you, TV
I know this was not a good episode. It was probably even a bad episode. But dammit, I was smiling the whole time. It's just so much fun, even when the story is a trainwreck.

*You. See what I mean?
That's what happens when hou type with your penis.
No, last season had Twitch and Katee and Joshua all through it, Sashi.
Iveta did look better, but still not 29.
Oh, Eleanor
Now, THAT is when I love Contemporary solos. I hate the random, arm-flailing, body rub, fall to the floor Contemporary solos. But Eleanor (and Jeanine last season) actually danced with, and took her cues from, the music, and it was lovely. And she's golden in the personality department. She's one to…
As long as you squint and turn the contrast on your TV way up, she looks allright.
29 my ass
There's no way that Iveta will make it to the live show, right? I mean, the rules state "29 or younger," and she's going to have to show them some identification with her real birthdate to get hired on the show, right? I mean, THERE ARE RULES, RIGHT?!?!
On a serious note, how come when Sherri says, "Screw me once, shame on you. Screw a white girl, we done" is sassy, but if a white woman were to say "screw a black girl, we done" it would be racist?
"We polled a hundredpeopleanthhtofianswaboard," was the funniest bit of that sketch to me. And who does a Richard Dawson impression with out AT LEAST trying to cop a feel?
That sketch could have been great, had they pulled the reversal and made the Osmonds out to be the creepy incestuous family.
Well, yeah, you guys are right. I need to watch those early episodes again, I've only seen the the one time, and have been avoiding them.
I believe next week's is "Advanced Criminal Law."
I'd say when you rent the DVDs, don't even bother with disc one (unless you have to rent them as a set, of course). Start with the unaired pilot, which is under the special features on disc 3, then skip strait to "Man on the Street." The first season plays a shit load better that way, in my opinion.
And I just found out that he's married to Allyson Hannigan. Lucky bastard.
Huge tonal problems
This episode was pretty painful, especially the scene where FBI Boss was telling his flash forward to Shakespeare (don't know their names yet, sorry). That's the exact type of broad, clunky comic relief that a show like this needs to avoid.
Future casting ideas?
After Chenowith knocked it out of the park last night, she's gonna be a tough act to follow. I know that Eve is the next high-profile guest star who's stopping by, but who do you think would be a good addition?
I disagree. I thought this was a great episode, and it showed me that the show can survive without Jane Lynch stealing every other scene. Sylvester is a hilarious character, but they need to be careful of overusing her. She'll start being a crutch, then.
"Half of these routines, you switch out their song for a different one and I don't think anybody notices."
