I gotta admit that I got a little teary when Jay said, "90% of being a good father is just showing up." That storyline was a great balance of humor and heart.

No thoughts on the Prime Time Vagina?
I always feel a bit bad for the dancers who get stuck with people like Red Bull guy in the choreography round. We know that the only reason he made it that far was so we could see a train wreck, but I wonder how said train wreck affected his partner? Hopefully the judges would

Unser and Gemma
I got the feeling that Unser's love for Gemma is more paternal than romantic. The way he said "I've known her since she was twelve" sounded almost grandfatherly to me.

How about fingerbanging your girlfriend in the back of your grandmother's car while your brother and her sister are (hopefully) oblivious in the front?

Ooh, topical.

How should it end?
We all know that Dexter was picked up for a fifth season, and I'm hoping that it's the last. Todd's right in that this show needs to end before it wrings the premise completely to death (though I liked this episode a lot more than he did).

According to that map, thefais, it's okay to bang nine-year-olds in half of Mexico.

STILL SPOILERS

ANGEL SPOILERS

Tom, I just watched A Hole in the World the other day for the first time. (Angel being the only Whedon show I never watched, I thought it was time to catch up.) She was absolutely brilliant in that episode, and Amy Acker deserves to be a big star and a household name (outside of geek houses, that is).

That's disappointing. It'll probably be canceled, though, so she'll come back, right? Right?!

Such privileges come with being executive producer, I suppose.

I'm bummed about the regular length commercial breaks, too. This and Fringe really benefited from the extra few minutes of show that those short breaks allowed. Shame, really.

I believe I read that they switched to HD digital video, one of the budget cuts that came along with the renewal. It's not as crisp as film, but it's serviceable.

Solid
Really solid episode, but I really hope they phase out the "Engagement of the Week" style. The most interesting aspect of this show has always been the inner workings of the Dollhouse, and I fear the show will never realize its full potential until that becomes the main focus. Sadly, next week looks like more

I have to admit that I was completely duped by both Alexis Denisof and James Marsters (Spike from Buffy/Angel). I spent years watching them speak in what I thought was their natural British accents, only to discover on a bonus feature on the Angel season 5 dvds, that their natural accents are very American. My mind

Well, that safety record is certainly out the window now.

I am too, kerouac. There's something about her….she's not exactly "pretty," but she's got….Uncontrollable Fuckability. That's it.

Yeah, that was the most dissapointing thing about the book. **SPOILERS, I GUESS, THOUGH I DOUBT ANY OF YOU CARE** It seemed like he was setting up to use noetics in the climax, which would've been fine, but then, nothing. I think he realized that he was about to go into "hard science fiction," and thought he might
