Emmy voters can suck my hot tamale
Seriously, how does this show not get nominated in the Best Reality Show category? Or Cat Deeley as host, for that matter? It's absolutely the best produced, most artistic, most challenging, and most exciting competition in primetime right now.

Yeah, I really would've like to see one more flashback, particularly the one where Voldie applies at Hogwarts (would've gotten Ralph Feinnes (sp?) in it, too).

Added scenes
Saw the movie yesterday, loved it.

One of my worst movie-going experiences was Goblet of Fire. A man sitting next to me hadn't seen the first three, and spent the entire film asking questions about what the hell was going on.

This is the first quasi-negative review I've read, (though I'm sure there are others) so I'm not too worried about it. I love what Yates did with the last one, and can't wait till tomorrow to see this one.

Did he bring only one space-suit, or did he bring several ch-ch-changes?

I like to keep that 13% in reserve so I can say I wasn't too surprised when the dick flopped out. Fool me once, shame on you….

Don't let the picture fool you. I'm 87% sure that Sugartits is a chick.

My only complaint with PTA and his scores is that sometimes they're a bit too overbearing. I know that sometimes that's the point, and it works to great effect most of the time, but the ending of Magnolia always bugs me. John C. Reilly and Melora Hardin are talking in her room, and I have to strain to make out what

You mean the Kate Beckinsale Underworld, right? Those are books? I did not know that.

Mac port?
Does anybody know if there's any chance that this will be ported to Mac? Or Xbox Live/Playstation Network? It pains me deeply that I can't play this.

How is Underworld based on this? I really don't see any similarities other than vampires.

The Greyjoy castle is Pike, I believe.

It'd probably be impossible to do Sandman, right? I could see that as a really awesome half-hour adult animated show.

Jason, the whole time I was reading that, I did the footnotes in Stephen Fry's voice, thinking that they just HAD to use him for the movie.

I thought the Godfather novel was fantastic, and those side characters' adventures are what made it so. I already knew the movie backwards and forwards, so it was great to have that world expanded.

Martin said on his blog a few days ago that he's actually feeling optimistic about finishing the book soon for the first time in years. But I'm not holding my breath.

Of course I haven't seen the pilot, but I have read the pilot script, which was leaked a few months back. And it was fantastic. Plus, the books it's based on have a huge fan following, a large number of which would probably subscribe to HBO just to watch that series. Plus, they have a great director in Tom McCarthy

David Simon's new show Treme (or: The Wire in New Orleans) got picked up, as did Scorsese's Boardwalk Empire. Both of those are airing next year, I think.

Which two did you see, Snake?
