It sounds better than "The Max Weinber 8." Max's fill in drummer is now a full time percussionist with the band.

Was "thrown under a bus" around before reality tv? First time I heard it was on Top Chef, and then on every single reality show ever.

Aw, I like the opening credits for Rome. But Carnivale is without a doubt the best one.

Unless you're a black sheriff.

His score for Brokeback is indeed amazing. Also, Iguazu was used in the first season of Friday Night Lights.

" I will cut you!"

Bullshit
I calling bullshit on letting Silky dance for his life, and just flat-out booting Natalie. Her performance in the jazz routine wasn't great, but it wasn't near as bad as some others who made it through, and everything we've seen of her has been really strong. She's better than Caitlin, who got to dance for

Carnivale and Rome were both scored by Jeff Beal. Six Feet Under's main theme was by Thomas Newman (Wall-E, American Beauty), who's my favorite composer working today. And according to imdb, four composers worked on Deadwood, and none of them were Gustavo Santaolalla, the Oscar winner for Babel.

I can't disagree more, Meyer. The second season just expounded on everything I loved about the first season, and took the characters to some really interesting places. And then the final (should've been first) collision between Ben and Justin? Just stunning TV.

@Julie Delpy

That's the only TV moment that actually elicited a horrified vocal response from me. And of course I rewound it like 5 times.

I love Rome, but I think Carnivale is more deserving of the TV Club.

If I recall correctly, wasn't it mostly Milch's decision to cancel the show so he could do that abortion on a surf board John from Cincinnati?

Schoolhouse, watch season 1 of Slings & Arrows. It's the best you'll get.

I love Lemon too, but he's so stiff in Hamlet. (He plays Bernardo.) You can see him trying so hard to get the language out, it's painful.

Pssh, 10 Thing I Hate About You is timeless.

Agreed. But I go back and forth between liking Gibson's or Branagh's better. Branagh uses the entire text, which is a huge plus, but then we also have to suffer through Jack Lemon and Billy Crystal trying to do Shakespeare.

I wish they'd put him back on the couch. It was good enough for Ed McMahon.

I had that Teddy Ruxbin doll too. And yes, it gave me nightmares.

I honestly didn't, either. Same with the candy stand over in the corner. Has that always been there?
