Has anyone noticed how well Fuller et al have written Season 2's end-game to line up with Season 1's? The first season ended with Will discovering Hannibal was lying to him about killing someone and it seems like this season has to end with Hannibal discovering Will was lying to him about not killing someone.

And if you think *that's* fun, try giving your sister a hysterectomy!

It's just too convenient. Jack recognizes the pieces fit a little too neatly in that Miriam got rescued after more than two years missing and the 'Chesapeake Ripper' just happened to leave a trail of evidence leading to her shooting him in the face within a very convenient span of time.

I like the idea of Timothy Dalton being bitter that he never got to meet the Cryptkeeper, like Bob Hoskins' (RIP) kids pestering him about introducing them to Roger Rabbit.

You're not having a stroke.

"Call of the Simpsons." We were visiting my aunt one night and I remember being very annoyed that we might miss it, but I have no recollection of having watched the show before or being told about it.

The show has established a precedent of Will collecting strays, and not just dogs. He was determined to get justice for Georgia Madchen last season after a handful of moments with her and there's no reason he wouldn't do the same for Peter the moment he realized the depths of how he was mistreated. Mentally ill

Will: "But what about Jack?"
Hannibal: "Fuck Jack! Let's get a sandwich [made of people!]"

That is a pretty amazing and totally true fact! Pfister shot a bunch of the early softcore efforts of Gregory Dark, who himself stumbled from porn notoriety to filming music videos for Britney Spears (big leap there, I'm sure). There was a great article about him in Premiere once where he talked about a dream

John Garrett survives being blow'd up real good to become a cyborg in his comic appearance in the comic ELEKTRA: ASSASSIN. Which is amazing.

I not only found this fun AND educational (but . . . how?!), I have another reason to shut up and play Ocarina of Time now. Thanks!

I really love that Marin's father Tarin looks like Mario and has a name that is very close to Mario and maybe is some dream-diffused remembrance of Mario. Super or not.

Does anyone else consider Talitha Cumi one of their favorite conspiracy episodes? It builds off of what led to it and works really well at providing new pieces of the puzzle (Cancer Man and Mulder's Ma, for instance) without giving you much of an idea of where the story is going.

I *am* CAR-vallo. Tee hee!

John Hawkes!

The X-Files had an opening that was atmospheric and perfect for the show. Everything about it, from the cuts to the apparently 'found footage' of the performers, the weird music and the changing text messages was awesome. I never saw the new intro they from the end of the show until recently and I was outraged at

Yea, and she even got David Bowie to sing on one.

OY DON'T FUCK WITH JOEY

I think that was a big part of it. Mike talks about OGF being Refn's return to "deliberately punishing form" but there's plenty of that here. The violence in this movie is nasty in a way that a lot of people weren't ready for (Refn's inspiration for the elevator skull-stomping *was* Alejandro Jodorowsky, after all),

How wonderful is Joan P. Harris (née Holloway)?
