Yea, I was pretty bummed that the one bit of yelling from the end of Tinker Tailor ('WHAT ARE YOU THEN?!') and none of The Dark Knight yelling made it here. Oldman's got some good yells.

The love that Eugene Mirman gets in these parts makes me pretty bummed that "DON'T FUCK YOUR DAUGHTER!" didn't make the cut.
Mageina Tovah deserves so much better. She should get her own franchise.
Or let me bring her some cake, I dunno . . .
Prince Paul is a genius and a pioneer. I think that the skit from Psychoanalysis with the bad stand-up is maybe the funniest hip-hop sketch ever. Cracks me up everytime.
I think Lipsyte's stories are awful swell and maybe better than the novels. My favorite, 'The Republic of Empathy,' is is in this collection and is staggering in its economy of language. You can read it on The New Yorker's website if you have a subscription.
Baby Cakes #3 was always my favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
Ralph Wiggum's the kidnapper?
I was very surprised to read that some people aren't keen on Frog Hammer. I accept it as silliness, but Feore sells it with such joy that I'm on board as soon as he shows up. He doesn't get enough chances to play for laughs.
Raylan and Winona did go to Aunt Helen's funeral late in Season 2, so I could see her coming back for Arlo's.
How excellent was the scene with Boyd and Colt in the back of the bar? Perfect escalating tension. Goggins was scary as the dickens under that grey light and Eldard conveyed some pretty authentic-seeming desperation and fear as the truth came out.
There's a great bit in the script where this bully is picking on Napoleon as a kid and Napoleon just says, "FUCK OFF" and they get into a schoolyard scrap.
ODIN!
Season Three has a scene that makes his nature, ectoplasmic or otherwise, much clearer, IMO.
I can't blame the writers for shitting on Holly the way they do. After all, she is a DEAD-EYED CHURCH BITCH!
Plus, not making it an out and out expose creates some neat moments of 'huh.'
People who are interested in documentaries: How to Survive a Plague is absolutely excellent. It's a triumph of almost every component of filmmaking. Really emotionally affecting.
Check out the PT Anderson fan-site Cigarettes and Red Vines. If they're to be believed, filming will commence in late April/May and Joaquin Phoenix is already booked to be the lead again.
Another important Matthau-Tarantino link is Don Siegel's CHARLEY VARRICK, which is one of the coolest goddamn movies ever made.
If you made that joke in front of me, I'd guffaw. I laughed reading it.
AW HELL YEA!
