No.
No.
tl;dnr!
Fear is an irrational thing. Last week was probably harder for Phillip (hence his dropping out first), but this week he just psyched himself out.
I feel like you are trying to say that Megan Hilty/Ivy cannot act…but that cannot be what you are trying to say.
Well, that was a waste of words.
Glad to have you covering the show, VanDerWerff (reminds me of those violinists on the Titanic). I really enjoyed that episode, probably because Ivy and Ivy and everything IVY. Also, when Megan Hilty smiles my heart warms like a popsicle left out in the sun…
Loki, I love your avatar ;) And your Smash-bashing…
Karen is just a terribly written character, regardless of what Katherine McPhee does or does not bring to it.
It's funny because he's cute and she's ugly. Amirite, guys?! Highest of fives!
Re: your point about people not commenting on the actual story…I was reading a Carrie Raisler review and somebody griped about her grading (shock, horror!), implying that Girls gets good grades by default. She replied with something like, "if this was a Girls review there be would 300 comments and none of them would be…
This could be a good thing, if Dunham steps her game up. Marnie and Charlie were irritating enough on their own. No need to show them clinging to each other for another few episodes before breaking it off. Again. And then gluing it back together. Again.
I love how people cannot help but talk about Girls, even in the comments section of shows that are nothing like it.
Those are flaws in writing, not in character. Ivy actually makes mistakes like a normal human being. But St. Karen can do no wrong on this ridiculous show.
You're the worst.
He probably anticipated these reactions well before he wrote his piece. Pretty sure he ain't sorry about it.
I really liked "Heartbreaker", maybe because it was inspired by El Tango de Roxanne? Which I did not know before now…
Nice to have a genuinely funny (and yeah, weirdly creepy) episode again. My affection for Finn will never die, but even I was cringing hard at the "future wife" thing. Who talks like that?
And you are well within your rights to waste your own time.
Ray is only a loser in the sense that he isn't going for what he wants. He doesn't seem happy with his life, hence the crying, but he's not doing much to change it.
You should try contributing something worthwhile as well. Instead of snarking every chance you get.
