How can there be a prequel that features Tyler when we saw him come into being in Fight Club? Hmm…

Honestly first read this as "…a wasteland warlord and codpiece enthusiast whose *groins* have stolen Max’s Interceptor and left him for dead"

I haven't read the "MRA" complaints but I can't understand how anyone would have a problem with the film's plot. The villain is a lunatic who is clearly in the wrong, owning women. There are strong women in the film who are protecting themselves. I can see how the film is not typical in that regard, but there wasn't

What would you consider to be an example of an action film that does a better job? Honestly curious what your high bar is.

Just had the same realization when I saw the setlist. I was really hoping for a live album just so I could get a live version of that song. When the band swelled, it was absolutely amazing live.

How dare she make comments about what she did oh-so-very-publicly.

I think there must be an episode missing from Netflix. When did Walt join the A-Team?

Presumably, RJ Mitte took some eggs and a pancake from the craft services table…

I love Soul Coughing and I love Doughty's solo work. His vitriol-on-display thing over the last few years has really turned me off and made me like his work less, which is sad.

"Hey, you called it all Season 5 and even though it was well-publicized that it was 2 distinct half seasons that would be aired a year apart, I thought that they were the same season because I am a semantic dickhead! Gimme money!"

Deadwood: Seth Bullock. Totally eclipsed by Swearengen (and McShane's portrayal)

I thought Wolverine's "Shut the fuck up, pretty boy" followed by breaking the dude's nose was a good moment for the character.

I don't think I implied that enjoyability is no longer subjective. I thought the subjectivity of the statement in my post expressing an opinion was implied.

Get the Sabbath best of Dio disc. That's what I did, and there's some outstanding stuff on there.

I've been stuck on Vol 4 lately. Wheels of Confusion to open, and the amazing crushing Under The Sun to close. Doesn't get much better than that.

I just see them as different stylistically, because Iommi holds the notes in "Black Sabbath" for so damn long, and End of the Beginning sounds (to me) like a more modern shreddy riff. *shrug*

I disagree. I think anyone intimately familiar with their 70s stuff, as well as Iommi's recent output, would recognize that they have evolved musically. It doesn't come across as an attempt to mimic the past, which is good because I approached it as a fan who recognized and accepted that these guys haven't recorded

I humbly request that those who write about comedy remove the word "skit" from their vocabulary. I don't know why, but it's just diminutive. "Aw, is wittle Fwed gonna do anover skit?" SNL is a sketch comedy show. Not a skit show.

You are also describing "99% of every sitcom ever made"

Dubious finding for a publication with "Scientific" in the name.
