I've been hating the Chili Peppers for years, and I think I've actually GROWN an inch because of it. In the dick, of course.

Thanks for the name-drop. Some of us latecomers just wanna know what's going on.

Well, Arrested Development is better, 30 Rock is better, but as far as pure joke delivery goes, FG was the king of 'em all, at least for a while.

Hooper… he's got great t*ts.

Great news.

I don't know, man… there are a LOT of ways to break out of storytelling ruts WITHOUT the really dark, uncomfortable subject matter that has become a hallmark of the show.

Extra shame upon them for actually caring to throw in a few funny bits before the horror (Peter and Joe's exchange in the boat, the pop-shot in the clown porno). I'm 2 bad episodes away from never watching any FG made after 2009 again, and I genuinely hope others are with me.

Seth has blown right past "not giving a fuck" to "open contempt for the audience."

The middle of the end of the end, one hopes.

Shame, because there were a few laughs this episode ("Two-thirds of the earth is covered in water? This guy's alright.")… but not nearly enough to justify the dreadful subject matter.

Seconded. I've defended this show since day 1… of the 3rd season, when it came back. But I'm having a harder and harder time lately, and if I'm looking for a moment where it all started to slip, it's that episode.

I was pretty unnerved when they went up to the onion monster's attic, only to find that he WAS a violent lunatic.

Was this the same Webster episode where he finds that doll in the chair? That sh*t was spooky. And that house is terrifying. I'd rather live under an overpass.

I was never more terrified than the Corprusarium sequence from Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Contracting a disease and getting sent to an eccentric wizard's dark, unkempt underground asylum where you are expressly forbidden from hurting the other "patients" who attack you constantly? F*cking terrifying to the core.

Here's one from your out-of-nowhere file: a certain Halloween episode of Quantum Leap. I don't remember much about it, except that Al becomes evil, and some recurring goat imagery that's used very effectively.
