Agreed, even so this is still one of my favorite movies.  Great performances by them both, especially Tatum.

omg I can still sing that whole damned song.  I totally forgot about that.  I remember being pissed every time they messed the jingle up at the end, I wanted that million dollars dammit.

"Five O'clock World" by the Vogues or "Blue Collar Man" by Styx.    Both have to do with working and the former is from PA. I agree that "Cigarette" by the Clarks is a good choice too.

I've actually done that. Out of all of Nesmith's tunes I think "While I Cry" is my favorite.

I thought it was going to be Porpoise Song or Circle Sky but I was hoping it was You and I (Instant Reply version).

Oh man that's my biggest laugh in an episode filled with laugh-out-loud moments.  Magnificent is an apt description.  Her crying just showed how absurd the whole PPC thing was at its heart.

"Pepsi Jr. never forget that the silent majority of the avclub supports you and your point of view."

fixed

He screwed himself out of a big goodbye.  He couldn't make up his mind if he wanted to stay or go.   That's on him.

" one of the TV biz’s worst-kept secrets "

Great write-up and one of the reasons why I continue to check in here at the AVClub.

So edible.

I don't think he said anything about NBC but did direct some negativity toward Sony, who just hired him back lol.

On this level, I don't believe so.

Love these guys although I prefer their last album.

Who are these people discussing in the above article?  I got as far as "a show that launched six separate failed careers" when I called BS and stopped reading.

Yeah I don't understand why he keeps feigning melancholy at the end of the season as if he's leaving.  Make up your mind buddy.

I feel really guilty not watching this live every week because it really is a wonderful little show and I want it to succeed.   I only had two shows that I made a point to watch live this season because the ratings were so important to their survival  (figured the Middle was doing pretty well in that respect).  I will

I'd never have thought that a small Phyllis and Stanley moment  would have been the biggest emotional moment for me but man it was.

I had a feeling it was a while ago based on the "not a hell of a lot going on" part.
