I'm with you on this. My play is OK, but I just don't get the really deep strategy. It doesn't help that I love red and black, but my style of play is more suited to white, or even blue (which I have a real problem getting my head around!).

Does one have to buy the new cards to keep up? What I mean is, do they increasingly get stronger and stronger, or just different. I feel you should be able to play your older cards, unless it would be like Jesse Owens racing Usian Bolt.

After moving between continents a few times with a deck I never used anymore, I lost all my cards, which were from the 90s. I really wish I could find them and see if any are of value. But they're probably permanently lost in a Belgian cellar somewhere…

I have Magic 2013, 2014 & 2015 on my iPad. I love the campaigns and the challenges, and only play against the AI. While I miss the 2v2 from the earlier versions, I really like more control over the decks that the later version offered.

So, Scrabble dictionaries are sort of like football. And Celsius.

The winner of the North American competition gets $10,000. So it's a little more than just a social game.

Because "labias" isn't a word. However, by acknowledging the use of "labia", you've proven the point against your argument.

He'd probably just wear a pair of nylons over his head. But they'd be mantyhose.

I would highly recommend going back to watch from the beginning. The second season's tensions don't make a lot of sense (or at least aren't very impactful) without what happened in season one.

I know it's pointless to be pedantic about Simpsons quotes, but if you were waiting desperately for the Allies to show up, wouldn't you be pretty fucking ecstatic to see communists? I mean, at least for a day or two until they started building walls.

Uh, death, please. No, Mcdonalds! Mcdonalds! Mcdonalds, sorry. Sorry…

I only remember my older sister and future step-siblings telling me to go to their mother and say "cuff" backwards. She washed my mouth out with a bar of soap. Bastards.

Why was Bruce Jenner so well known as an Olympian? I'm aware that he won a gold medal, fair play. But lots of people have. I get the feeling people touted him as one of the best ever.

Does anyone know the history of when women started wearing men's clothes? Probably started in the late 19th century with trousers? I'm thinking that must have been a shitstorm. Now women in a suit and tie would hardly register a second look.

I know you're looking at the forest, and I maybe speaking of trees. But I think their non prominence may speak to more acceptance. After all, I can think of many many stories of transgender women or the man who loves them being savagely attacked. I can't think of nearly as many about transgender men.

I would've thought her from OITNB was the first to get a positive representation?

Looking for arrows, and figuring out the best way to carry all the bones and scales to keep or sell. :)

I usually find a way to kill them, rather than avoid them. I spent a lot of time in Skyrim early one hanging from an impossible cliff so that I could shoot fireballs for 25 minutes at giants, or balancing precariously on a pillar I probably wasn't meant to be able to jump on, so I could safely shoot arrow after arrow

You just reminded me of that tipping point, when the markers and quest list start to shrink. I'm not one to replay games, so it is a sign that I need to slow back down, enjoy the scenery, and get ready to close out that particular adventure.

I drunkenly spent two hours IRL chopping wood outside the inn in Whiterun, to make enough gold to buy a relatively shitty bow and some decent arrows early in that game. It rained throughout the quiet nights (I think there were 4-6 of them in game), and I spent all day listening to a vendor call out the cuts of meat he
