Alas, I was watching the English remake, where it takes place in the market town of Bath and Jack is played by the fine thespian Kate Winslet.

People ask me…
People ask me if I paid my dues. Have I paid my dues. Yeah, I paid my dues and the cheque is in the mail!
My kid sister is just 12, and she absolutely adores this movie - the fact that I first saw it some 23 years ago notwithstanding, it's just great kickass fun.
It is…
…all in the reflexes.
This is RockyRocky's second brush wit h canceraids. They say you have canceraids twice in your life, once on the way up, and … well.
Odd. My trusty paperback don't need no backlight. Runs on either that solar light you've heard of or the electric lights that most places that aren't Liverpool have now. Also, I can take it ANYWHERE and what's more its battery life never seems to run out. I honestly can't remember the last time I had to charge the…
ZMF - I think you have some deeply held personal issues. That gives you a lot of scope. Like shooting up in a Cabinet office. Like shoving a cat up your arse and having a wank.
Can we watch Aliens, Ted? The bishops would love Aliens!
Enough with all this negativity! Come on! Who among us hasn't felt the urge to urinate on a fourteen year-old from time to time? Who among us hasn't been had up in court for statutory rape, on occasion? Which of us has never felt the urge to pen a hip hopera featuring an over-endowed midget named 'Big Man'?

Tediously fascinating, or fascinatingly tedious? Either way, I'm intrigued…
His stuff for Cronenberg's Dead Zone is pure sly. Love it.
Craig Armstrong's score for The Quiet American is a favourite. Shame about that one he did for the Incredible Hulk though.
No no no, Tom Cruise is legend. You, Will, are merely Fresh.
And d'you know what's not bad - and I say this as a man who only went to the cinema to see this under sufferance - his score for Twilight.
DAVID SHIRE
David Shire is my favourite movie composer - he did Coppola's The Conversation, The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3, Farewell My Lovely, Return to Oz! All the President's Men! And most recently Zodiac, which is one of the best film scores of the last ten years.
Oh and it was John Barry scored Dances With Wolves. Only reason I remember is because they did a South Bank Show on him.
Horner can be great - Search for Spock's Stealing the Enterprise is a gem of a cue. And as much as I love his score for Aliens, so much of it is a lazy rehash of Wrath of Khan.
He just smelled of the spice melange.
