Am I the only one who noticed Ben's fan fiction is riddled with errors?

"And the punishment handed down to the War Lords, of having their planet erased from time so thoroughly "it will be as though you had never existed" seems to be exactly how the Doctor brought the Time War to an end, erasing both the Daleks and the Time Lords from history."
I've heard more than one person say thats how

They did say it was likely a library or archive.

I had no problem with the other characters just being other members of the pantheon fearful of their cruel ruler, likewise having a feeble old man be the father of said ruler, a la Cronus or Uranus, didn't bother me.  Perhaps naming them and giving them such distinct personalities was misleading if they weren't going

"I get frustrated by backstories that refuse to make intuitive sense."

I do enjoy thinking during a show, its my favorite.  But I'm increasingly worried that we're in a season that makes less sense the more you think about it.  I'm withholding judgement until the season finale, but on this thread you'll find people both arguing how skillfully this complicated plot has been assembled, and

I have to say, the mid-season finale didn't sit well with me.  Of all the questions I had about River Song, "who are her parents" was not on the list.  At the time I was a little disappointed that rather than coming by her badass status honestly(as I had always assumed), she'd been a magic Timehead baby from the start.

All of these examples involve extraordinary circumstances and special equipment. If a Timelord can just up and decide to do it, then suddenly theres been countless situations in the past when the Doctor could have saved other peoples lives by sacrificing his own and didn't.

"It's just a show, I should really just relax" Yeah, but a balance must be struck, if there are literally no rules then its impossible to care about whats happening.  I feel like one of the improvements Moffat was supposed to bring to the table was a decrease in dues ex tardisa, and that certainly was not the case
