I hate that smug, overweight nobody that a weirdo fanbase on the internet has tried to make a somebody.

People take their comic book movie talk way too seriously. I just thought that the young man loves his Marevel movies full of bad quips would enjoy being responded to with a bad quip.
Its an MBA. Don't need no English.
"Some dumbass". I'll have you know that I have a masters degree, sir.
Speak for yourself. I wouldn't be caught Dead watching this!
Quip-happy guys embrace responsibility in both, not unlike a certain Tony Stark. Ant Man, in particular, was nearly a beat for a beat re-do of the first Iron Man. In fact, I'd be curious to see the Ant Man script matched up directly against Iron Man's.
The knives are out for this and the possible trainwreck factor is high but I think this movie is going to be surprisingly watchable. Same with Suicide Squad. At the very least, I'd take a glorious disaster over the staidness of the Marvel series.
Whoever said that is a hooplehead.
I liked Season 1 actually and I realize that the cold, sterile environments and characters might be an aesthetic choice but I don't think the show excels at either being camp (murder-happy Frank) or a realistic look at Washington (back to the emptiness, those White House hallways sure are desolate). Its just my…
Modern day tv "critics" definitely give too long of a leash to Netflix programming. I fear for a crowd sourced future. Orange is the New Black is their only true success so far in my personal opinion.
A comment section every bit as empty and shallow as the show. Great synergy here.
That's basically my first "watch" of Marvel movies. Mildly curious to know what happens but not in a hurry to see them in theaters and I know I'm not missing out on anything but a pretty boilerplate plot. I see them all properly everntually.
1. Movies are about pretty people starring pretty people. I don't know why anyone would be outraged by this. But this is the AV Club so I should know better.
Its also not a good benchmark either. I'm 32 and no one knew who Deadpool was in my age range. He never appeared in the Fox X-men or Spiderman series which were the ultimate indicator of comics popularity among kids of a certain age.
Starz Thread:
I've been taking advantage of a free Marvel Unlimited subscription and doing a deep dive into the wonderful world of X-books (Which aren't really as complicated as their reputation suggests. There's definite through-lines). Rick Remender makes Deadpool surprisingly tolerable in his Uncanny X-Force series. The first…
Eh, its not good art but that style makes me nostalgic for the halcyon days of the mid-90's so there's that.
Remember when Dodgeball made over $100 million dollars at the box office and then it seemed everyone completely forgot about it. Its not like popular opinion turned against it. Time just….forgot.
So….Saw.
I saw Saw after which I saw Saw 2 and later I saw Saw 3. I saw no more after that. I thought the quality see-sawed from the original to the pretty poor Saw 2 which I guess I wish I hadn't saw but thought Saw 3 was an improvement when I saw that.
