Lots of "George Lopez" now too.

sorkin ratings
The show in the show "Studio 60" was also struggling in the ratings, from what I remember. The first show after Matthew Perry's character's return got an audience boost from publicity, but after that it was downhill to barely mediocre (which describes the ratings and creative level of "Studio 60"…
Gotta agree with the positive feedback on "Within You Without You". It's a very good example of early attempt to combine eastern music and instrumentation with western pop music. Considering all the attention that Indian music is getting lately, maybe it's time to reconsider this song as an influential, overlooked…
lie to me
Does "Lie To Me" really deserve to be covered?
@whooty
Klosterman has gone slightly against the current critical consensus here, not with Sgt Pepper, but with Rubber Soul and Magical Mystery Tour.
Most other sources I've read say the sound is exemplary, without a doubt worth buying again. I haven't heard any official reviews comment about compared to the Purple Chick remasters, but the few comments I have heard say these new remasters are at least equal.
I meant that all I ever see quoted is "Oww! My Balls!". It's the only quote that is used outside of posts and comments specifically about "Idiocracy". I liked the movie. I'd really like to use the line about "Ass" winning 8 oscars including best screenplay more often, but it's hard to work that into everyday…
What bothers me most is that it is too many things happen that just come out of nowhere, that are not connected to anything that happened before and that don't have anything to do with the plot or subtext of the events so far. It's like what was written about "The Number 23" in My Year of Flops a few days ago:
but I liked it
All those great "Idiocracy" quotes.
isn't this all getting a bit silly?
"True Blood" is starting to seem like a story a child would tell, where it's never getting to a point and silly details get added as the telling gets longer.
Not much for Bana
Maybe the description of book Henry as "a tragic, larger-than-life man with huge appetites for food, sex, alcohol, music, and normalcy" is giving the character too much credit for having a personality, and to Audrey Niffenegger for giving him one.
Yeah, Chubby Checker. Right after I hit post and walked away I realized this. Sorry.
The Twist
How about Chuck Berry's "The Twist"?
I doubt this happened as well.
Made about the same time as "Cars" but I think released after, Carlin did a voice for "Happily Never After", a stab at a "fractured fairytales" type story. It's not bad in a mind-blowing way like some of these movies. It's just really boring. And he didn't exactly have a stellar film career to begin with, so I'm…
