The Father Ted stuff actually spilled over in to real life. They filmed the majority of location shots across two of the Aran Islands - Inis Oírr and Inis Mór - and, at TedFest, they had a five-a-side football match to decide which one of them gets to call themselves the real Craggy Island. Inis Mór won 2:0.
