@Scrawler2:disqus fair enough. It used to be on the basic cable plan a few years ago. Now my area has it on the same plan with HBO and Showtime. I miss that station quite a bit.

The world is a mess and I just…need to rule it!
This is why superheroes can only be with their loved ones AFTER finishing the job. Arrow just did the "this is my last job before retirement" trainwreck plot.
So, the woman trying to de-stablize China has to be Malcolm's wife, right? Either she faked her death to get away from Malcolm or Malcolm has known where she is the whole time and is faking for everyone else.
Here's my thought: Roy and Thea are decent together in that it gives Thea an actual plotline. The problem is, there's no reason to have she and Roy fighting and Thea's defense of Oliver was half-hearted. I agree with others who have mentioned that they need to speed up this storyline or, at the very least, have Thea…
In my version of the 2012 Oscars Take Shelter won everything and it was amazing.
I'm saddened by how many people in this entire thread won't be getting Turner Classic Movies. 31 Days of Oscar!
"The TV is in the FRACKING WALLS!!!!!!"
This is actually exactly what I want cable to do. Let me pick the channels I actually want to watch and leave out the other 500 that I have no interest in. There are a lot of very specific channels now (golf channel, HGTV, Food Network, True Crime, etc.), why not get those channels directly to people who actually have…
Also a good question: when did '80's style TV-movies become legitimate Oscar bait stories?
I don't know. I didn't see a Holocaust survivor or a handi-capable person anywhere in that trailer. It clearly doesn't want ALL the Oscars.
This is going to be the most middle of the road movie that an Oscar nomination will force me to watch. It doesn't look terrible but it doesn't look great either.
"He's just a kid. No older than my messiah."
Believe it or not, this story was featured in Smithsonian Magazine a few months ago. Entertaining reading.
Yeah, that well dried up a few years ago.
Loved Iron Man 3 as well! There's a lot to love, with Stark being out of the suit for most of the film being the top of that list for me. I also loved *KIND OF SPOILER* Adam Pally being in the film. I had no idea it was going to happen and I was pretty entertained by him popping up.
"Why did we even close this?"
"It felt right!"
"It did feel right."
I fully plan to incorporate "The facts DID change, but I ain't lie." into everyday life.
This line made me do a *snort-giggle*:
"By Jay and B she means Jay-Z and Beyonce not my friend Jay and the Chesapeake Bay…because that's where he drowned."
The Talisman is my personal favorite King work. The creation of The Territories and the way their used is fantastic. Every time a news story about them working on a new movie of some King story, I internally yell "WHAT ABOUT THE TALISMAN?!"
