That seems right. When I searched for "Drunken Master" on netflix streaming a few weeks ago it suggested Miss Marple as a reasonable alternative.

So does this just ignore the fact that the film is based on a book and that the best parts of the film are directly lifted out of said book?
I believe it said something along the lines of "Moo! I'm a horse!"
Turk and Carla are my go-to examples. One of the things I really like about Bill Lawrence shows is that he keeps couples together and keeps them interesting.
I appreciate that they're willing to keep the relationship complicated. It would be too easy to have them both say "oh, forget it. It was a mistake and never happened." or to jump into trying a relationship. Instead we got the great scene of Nick awkwardly dancing to Taylor Swift to try (and fail) to cheer up Jess…
The panic moonwalk is my new favorite sight gag. It was so immediately awkward yet effective.
One Tree Hill had my one great unrequited 'shipper experience. Peyton and Jake should have been together! I pretty much stopped watching the show after Jake left for the second time.
Maybe it was a slow burn hit: people didn't like it at first but eventually got to love it because they were Canadian and nice enough to give it a couple more listens.
"Also, kugel."
I was hoping it would be Malik. I just want those two back together, damnit!
Jimmy and Sabrina had a good 30 seconds to be goths together!
"He's not sad! He's got a 401K and a six-pack!"
Pull it together, Hanson!
Ah, George, not the livestock!
Ah, George, not the livestock!
This is exciting since Phoenix is one of my favorite actors and P.T. Anderson is a great director.
Speaking as a woman I found the line "Is your father or a policeman around?" to be hilarious.
Fun fact: the first live show aired on my birthday, which was also Liz Lemon's birthday. Fictional TV personality Liz Lemon and I share a birthday!
"Hey Jack, if you 'desecrate' something is that bad?"
I feel like my most-quoted moment from the show is "I can have it all!" from Sandwich Day. It's almost perfect in any moment and I secretly picture that moment of Liz in the airport grossing out the security guard.
