Finished Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? - Wrote a longer reaction in another post but basically I found it much more grounded and interesting than Blade Runner. The sub plots were as interesting as the android stuff and Dick did a great job of tying it all together at the end.

I'm not sure how I feel about Beginners. I didn't really like the narrative framing device ("This is the president in 2004, This is what the sky looked like…") and it felt really distracting at one point.

I finished reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? . I enjoyed it quite a bit. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Blade Runner so I was expecting it to be just alright (which is what I think of the film) but I felt like the book made much more sense than the movie. I like the book's complexity of Deckard and J. R.

On the season 2 dvd there's a recorded table read for the "Cooter" episode. In that table read is my second favorite line 30 Rock has ever made (and it got cut from the final version): "I wish he had seen me eating a flag. Cooter Flag is a winner's name!"

Marcia Gay Harden is my favorite part of Mona Lisa Smile. She perfectly handles the shy, slightly repressed woman who wants exciting things to happen but never makes them happen. It's a great example of someone who's just never questioned their own life.

I think that was my favorite part of the episode. I love the little call backs to how alike Claire and Phil actually are, especially since Claire spends most episodes exasperated by Phil's actions.

Santana's Supernatural, eh? Should I unleash the 15 year-old version of me who thought the Backstreet Boys were robbed (ROBBED!) of multiple grammys in 2000 because of Carlos Santana and Rob Thomas? lol, Probably not.

Cool Story, Sis time:
When I was in high school (early 2000s) our school had a DJ'ing program that allowed some students to play principal-approved music during lunch periods. There were only three approved albums: Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Waters, some clean verson of a rap album who's main rapper is

Congrats on finishing Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell! Did you ultimately feel like the read was worth the time and effort?

I saw Pitch Perfect on Saturday and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked that nothing was on a epic scale (sigh…like Glee). It felt like even though people took part in these A Capella competitions and groups that the world didn't revolved around it. Anna Kendrick was great and I'm really starting to enjoy her acting as
