Maybe when ABC Family bought the rights to turn every other weekend into Harry Potter marathons they (ABC) also earned the rights to incorporate dementors into other shows. It's sort of like the Seinfeld-vision idea in the second season of 30 Rock.

What's great about this idea is that Mulan the movie has a Donny Osmond sung training montage just waiting to be used.

I thought of Peggy sort of like a version of Mary Todd Lincoln - she is ambitious and power-hungry but instead of actively seeking power for herself, she pushes her husband to achieve. Ultimately, she has the power she craves by controlling her husband as well as having authority within The Cause.

I thought Dodd was having the affair with Laura Dern's character. It was the way she spoke about him during her testimonial when they first arrived at her house. The fact that the scene was intercut with Amy Adams reaction shots made me think that was the moment she figured out about the affair.

I was really hoping this would be the place to discuss my hatred of Reign Over Me…but then I remembered that Sandler's character had millions of 9/11 victims' relief money and an apartment. Now I'm sad again.

Seriously, that movie was a piece of shit. That cannot be stated strongly enough.

It's been a few years since I read it but I love Brothers Karamazov. It's actually a bit easier to get into and interpret than Crime and Punishment (although Crime and Punishment is the better of the two, in my opinion) as well as having well thought out characters/moments.

Unforgiven: yeah, Gene Hackman owns that movie. It's one of those roles where you realize you're watching something special as it's still going. His storytelling in the jail was jaw-droppingly good.

I saw two movies this weekend: Looper and The Master (SPOILERS SPRINKLED BELOW)
