I watched the first 2 parts with my girlfriend together. She remembered it vaguely from her childhood as well, meaning images and characters but zero plot or names and was down for some nostalgia. She's even American so she had seen more of it than I.
It's pretty fun, we're watching Gargoyles and Broad City together

Congratulations. Must be spectacular and such a nice bow on top of your work and being able to publish your comic. I read some of your work a while ago and liked it, will head over to the site again.
Now, just make sure Jordo takes his medication cause the poor man might have a nuclear meltdown after this and the

Finished Swamp Thing Vol2 and am at the last 2 issues of Vol 3 (the Southern Zombie 2 parter). Vol 2 was great and it exponentially got better for me culminating in that awesome trip to Hell and the LSD trippy love issue. Someone told me here that Vol2 is like seeing comic books mature as an art form as you read it. I

Just curious as to what Bryan Singer stories those were?
I might also be one of the few people that actually enjoyed Superman Returns (without even having seen the original movies at that time). I see its (many) flaws now but damn, that plane scene is still spectacular and I overall have good memories of it.

Snyder's run was a bad introduction to the character for me but Moore's run is quickly making it one of my pop culture highlights. I may have said this before but I find it genius how he managed to breathe life into a floundering book by thematically doing the opposite, taking away the "soul" of it's main character

Despite knowing that the first one wasn't top notch, I really enjoyed it and it all had to do with Caesar and the pathos they managed to convey with a silent character. The interactions with the other apes were the most interesting for me too and are the highlight of the movie.
Really looking forward to this one,

Dear lord, I almost soiled myself with that joke.
Riggins being unintentionally funny maybe my favourite comedy on FNL.

He uses Latin to describe the relationship to its latter evolved versions and to describe the status that it holds in Westeros. It does seem more accurate than Arabic and it's dialects which would be contemporary equals and not have that temporal gap to show how the language was "vulgarized" throughout the centuries.

Thanks, it looks great and it sounds like my cup of tea. Satirical humour in superhero jacket? I read that it works as pop culture satire so even better.
Swamp Thing is Moore's Saga of the Swamp Thing yeah. I should mention that the next time. I know that the Anatomy lesson is real famous and it is fantastic but it's

I got my second order of TPB's in the mail and read:

Rolling out on that field was heart breaking. Those clenched fists are indeed harder to watch than him in a wheel chair.
I also never really cared for Landry in the beginning of the show. It was only in the third or fourth season that I warmed up to him. But then in rewatching the show, I noticed how fun he actually

I've read all the other reviews but this is the first time reviewing S1 so I look forward to it.

A reference to Jason Street's head dive or to my blind fanboyism? (if so, I was joking)

Friday Night Lights reviews? Sign me up.
Clear Eyes, Full Hearts. Can't forgive you if you say one bad word about the greatest show of all time.

I thought the same thing at the time. That stuff was hard to watch. One of the winters in WW II was the coldest we had in Belgium until a year or 2 ago. I don't know if it was '44 or '45 but my guess is that it's the same year as the Bastogne episodes. It gets cold but normally we have pretty average winters and

What an episode, what a show.
Everyone has already said what I thought and felt but I'd like to highlight my moment that really stood out for me. It was that extreme close-up of Will's eye. The suddenness and absolute coldness of it really make me feel for the first time "damn, he's really dead". He suddenly felt dead

I agree. It's damn fine movie but didn't blow my mind or anything. Didn't stick with me for days like other movies have done (except the shit tunnel scene, that was our favourite scene as kids). And I don't view it as a great piece of art either.

Die Hard. Extremely happy with that one.

That Liberty cover is really nice. Glad I bought Battling Boy (still haven't gotten around to it). I like these Comic Panels because it makes me excited tot try out new stuff like Ghost Rider now. Aama seems like something I would dig as well, it's on the wishlist already.

I find Royals an average pop song but some of her other songs on the album are quite pleasant, but that's all it is, pleasant. It's easy listening, not particularly poignant or deep. Like he is, it's hard to hate something if it's not outright bad or horrible. I get his feelings toward her although I am at the other
