Second that. His power was cool and it gave us cool visuals and some funny moments. Havok on the other hand was humping the air while looking way too serious about it.

I mean The Bully Project documentary. Sometimes I enjoy a cathartic documentary, like Blackfish a couple of months ago.

Watched a bunch of shows and a couple of movies:
Yellow Sea: As a fan of Korean cinema (read Kim Ki-Duk and anything with a revenge plot), I found this one pretty late. Maybe a bit too long but definitely a great movie with some nice symbolism behind all its bloody violence.

I finished East of West TPB Vol1. In the beginning I had no idea what was happening but the pretty pictures kept me going. Half way through the plot thickens and I was hooked, the introduction of his wife was the catalyst I think.
I've read a couple of Hickman's works now and I always get the feeling that he loves

That's maybe part of it but the reasons are double I think. One is that he enjoys it I think, the power to decide over life and death. The other is that Jack will be forever grateful for that and he's a powerful friend to have. Of course we know that things don't turn out like that but I could see that being part of

I think there's a little mistake in the review. Chilton allegedly manipulated Gideon into thinking he was the Chesapeake Ripper, not the Minnesota Shrike.

Dayum son, I need to watch Monk apparently.

This is not meant in a mean spirited way but your annoyance is funny. I get irrationally mad at small stuff as well sometimes fully realizing that it is ridiculous.

That is my favorite scene out of all of Justice League Unlimited. Not even kidding. I have shown people that scene on my smartphone in a bar once. One of them thought it was funny, the others looked at me weird.

Yeah, all of the costumes look a bit bland and outdated (black and gritty) but Quicksilver's is just horrible. I'll keep an open mind about the movie itself but that costume made me look less forward to it.

Tampopo is great. First food film I ever saw probably.

Brainfart! Saw/seeing. It was late okay. I was hungry. I … really have no excuse.

My favourite food film is still La Grande Bouffe. I could die watching them eat all that food. [/lame pun]

The whole car ride was hilarious. But Lincoln's delivery of "you gay, man" had me actually laughing so hard I couldn't hear Kevin's reply.

Yeeeeeess, it's all coming back to me now, like a repressed childhood memory. It was one of the few non-animated tapes I had at home and I watched it a bunch (as opposed to the first Jurassic Park that I've only seen like 3 times in my entire life). I did like it back then. Like the dog barking and then the T-Rex had

Back when the first Killzone game came out, I loved that story. It was derivative yes, with its Space Hitler and weird looking dudes. But it had a unique atmosphere I thought and it did make my game experience better. If only they had worked out the characters a bit more.

Didn't they also combine the 2 kid characters in the book into 1 kid for the movie? In the book it was a black smart kid and a white acrobatic girl which in the movie meant an acrobatic black girl. Still find that swing-kick the raptor thing ridiculous.

I haven't had the time to check out the season finale yet but this is a show that I really enjoy on a base level, same as Strike Back. Especially the fight scenes are so brutal, it's basically what makes or breaks an episode for me. Besides that, the main actor got more comfortable in his role I think. He's still

That one is my favourite. Patton Oswalt is cool but that parody ain't much.

If I can be honest, your tone is a bit dismissive and you only seem to approve of someone's opinion as long as they say nice things about Christianity or say that the bad things were due to the times they were in. But other religions can be godless/bad/cruel/…?
Also, Mother Theresa apparently lost her faith a long
