Just about to finish Girl Waits With Gun later today. It's highly enjoyable and compelling and I want to read much more about the real-life female police deputy who inspired the novel.

"So after you get metal-plated, that's when we all go to the beach. To rust."
Loved the finale. It made me so happy to have known and loved (almost) all of the characters for as long as I did. There's an extended cut where they have Shauna Malwae Tweep marry Bobby Newport.
At least she'll have some say/sway over director.
She's the second best Todd Glass Show guest after PFT and I love her call in segments trapped in the internet on the Pod F Tompkast.
"Zombie zoo, zombie zoo! Who let them damn zombies out the damned zombie zoo??"
"A banjo, Bob?"
It's Shay's. It's an old diner that is totally hit and miss, but they absolutely nail that one dish. I stumbled on it in a daze hungover with a group of friends one Sunday morning.
There's a place down the road from me (on Aurora Ave north of Seattle) that has a crab cake benedict. It's a crab benedict with crab cakes instead of Enghlish muffins and it's almost impossibly amazing.
I live in Edmodns and that self-serve hot teat and weird complimentary eggy soup is a cure for what ales you sometime. Getting delicious Teriyaki is just the cherry on top.
Quite stylish!
Just an FYI: The With Special Guest hosted by Marcy Jarreau & Nicole Byer from two Fridays ago was one of the best ones in ages.
Armen's toast of Spoonman had the benefit of being definite Armen very funny weirdness without having to listen to his stuttering grating cadence.
I love Hines, but did he even have a clue what his character's hook was at all? McKenna is the rising star of the Earwolf/comedy podcast world this year. I love her commitment to weird tangents.
*****SPOILERS if you haven't seen the doc yet*****
The final scene of the film proper and especially the last stark edit they do may have been the hardest I've ever cried in public. If you are lucky they will release the filmed version of Distant Sky as the music video for that song, as IMHO it's even more powerful than this song here, which is some powerful shit to…
Nerds Blizzards remain the best Blizzard flavor.
Oh, man I loved The Arbor. Manjinder Virk should be a star ASAP. Her recounting of all the the horrible things that happened to her character/interviewee (not sure what to call the people in that film) was utterly transfixing.
Just imdb'd Stephanie & she's acting in this show for a few eps. God, could we just give them a podcast/talk show where they just banter and talk nonsense to each other? Their chemistry is one of my favorite things.
MOTH!!!
