I finally got around to seeing Lonesome. Highly recommended silent film.

The beach scene and the scene where she flirts with the guy with the facial deformity are up there for me in terms of scenes of the year.

Part Two really needed to be an entire movie. That ran several hours. It was so intriguing and downright strange and beautiful and lush.

Reamde was awesome, IMHO. I had such a blast reading it, it's propulsive storytelling. Could have done without the part with the online game (sue me, I don't care about that subculture).

I can't wait to see how the next person deals with that question. Especially if its some serious actor type.
