This episode expresses the way I feel about modern political parties,
the republicans are just plain evil and the Democrats are idiotic and unorganized.

Tom Kenny did an amazing job distinguishing between Simon's collective nervousness and need to protect Marcy and The Ice King's screaming flights of delusion. Especially when he reprised the Cheers theme.

The comment about the video tape being a boring movie and the Cheers theme were incredibly touching. Simon's consistent need for normalcy in a crazy world is made even more sad by his declining mental state.

PB did mention she had an uncle, so at one point there were other Bubblegum rulers.

I wonder what become of the horrid mutants. Are they the precursor to candy people or the things that Susan Strong are? Or are they just one offs for this episode? Also how does the Lich fit into all of this?

This episode reminds me a great deal of Thank You (which is my personal favorite episode) its the story two characters who greatly care for each other and are eventually driven to their ends (though both Simon and Marcy are alive unlike the poor Snow golem) by their relationship. Yes I will indeed concede. The house hunting song, the auto tune song in the Jigglier, and Billy's song were in season one. But it really feels like she brought the music so I am glad that they aren't stopping with the song writing after her departure.

Yes more attempted suicides that people didn't want to directly stop. This show is the best.

It really strains a good father son/daughter relationship, whatever happened to just buying your kids things to convince them to be on your side. However Adventure Time isn't known for its good fathers.

Yeah thats what I think my biggest problem with this episode was. for all its grotesqueness and bizarre ideas it just didn't make me laugh that much. "Mystery Dungeon" was also disturbing but it was equally humorous. for every shock this episode had I didn't crack up.
