Movie Logic
Here's to '80s action logic

It wouldn't but unusual if Sun did not have the same last name as Jin. In a number of Asian cultures, married women do not take their husband's family name.

I think it was "Most people watching this show have never seen an actual debate, so make it look like something you'd see during a political campaign and call it a day" format.

Actually, that was my first thought when Leonard had to learn about football: why doesn't he ask Sheldon? He would have to know about football, he's from Texas.

I re-read So Long… recently, and while there are still parts of it I like (the octogenarian on the plane, god's final message to all creation), as a story it doesn't work for me any more. It reads too much like a teenage romantic fantasy.

I agree, misanthrope; although this view seems to be in the minority. I actually thought the bit of Salmon of Doubt that was to be the third DG novel looked interesting and would have integrated some of Adams' non-scifi interests into an enjoyable read.

I agree. It's a great way to use Erin's chipper attitude, politeness, and strict obedience to the rules.

Stanley might have been the best part of the whole episode.

He and Rasiada Jones had great comedic chemistry in that scene. I know that people usually don't appreciate the straight man in a set up, but having Andy showing up naked wouldn't have been nearly as funny without Ann's minimal reaction to it.

The most offensive part
is the existence of the word "sexile"

That was awesome. The use of the phrase "that was appropriate" made the confession both awkward and funny as hell.

@ hot dogs. that's the funniest thing I've read all day.
