beautiful album
minus the last song, what in the sam hill is that shit

I'll grant you White Stripes
but let's just admit that people are running out of years to claim as "favorite."

Maybe a dumb question…
Anyone know which movie the screencap is from? I'm quick to assume The Sixth Sense but can anyone confirm/deny this?

I missed the meeting where we all agreed Woody Allen can't direct and Kevin Smith can write.

Digital?
Total bummer. A print would be beautiful.

not to be a dick
…but this film isn''t that great in the first place. plus it has a really, really standard (borderline boring) plot. it's melville's direction and henri decae's photography that makes this film. but i'd love to see what john woo could do with it…

^ por que?

I don't know the titles but the one with Papercut I always liked. He was just this strange, entirely harmless super-villain. But a dastardly foe nonetheless. I simply loved how absurd and ordinary Pete & Pete's world was.

her* its*???

well, his avatar is blade runner so i'll let it slide

Correction, Mr. Carlin: that's what North and South and parts of West Philly look like…

Yeah, it's tucked behind some bushes because we're fucking tired of Rocky and Bill Cosby and everyone running up the art museum's steps.

klein? kline. wutev.

nice attempt at irony. kevin klein's face is as smooth as a baby's ass in that movie.

who was that chick???

Maria Bamford is hilarious.

Chill out, troll. Why would you assume that just because I watch a lot of movies that I don't make them? I'm concentrating in cinematography and shot four short films this semester so suck it.

Elmore Leonard
I didn't discover him in 2010 but I'd like to in 2011. I'm surprised there isn't a gateway to geekery or primer or whatever (whats the diff?).

Yeah, my interest in Makavejev is simple morbid curiosity.

I haven't checked out that set but I'm definitely adding it to my Netflix now. Those Eclipse sets are really pretty awesome. I've been eyeballing the Oshima, Chantal Akerman, and Dusan Makavejev boxes for a while now. Also, without them I would not have discovered Aki Kaurismaki.
